✈️GUIDE FOR AIR TRAVEL FOR PREGNANT WOMEN
📍Generally it is safe for pregnant women with uncomplicated pregnancy to fly until 36weeks AOG (But for some international flights they have earlier restrictions)
✈️ PRECAUTIONS / PAG-IINGAT NA MAARIING GAWIN
📍1. Iwasan ang Blood Clots (DVT)
Mas mataas ang panganib ng deep vein thrombosis sa buntis. Inirerekomenda ng ACOG:
Maglakad kada 1–2 oras lalo na sa mahabang flights or biyahe
Flex and extend ankles o paa. Kung maaari, pumili ng aisle seat.
Gumamit ng compression stockings.
Uminom ng maraming tubig to avoid dehydration.
Always wear your seatbelts. Ilagay ang seatbelt below the belly or tiyan
📍AVOID OR DELAY TRAVEL FOR THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
1. Pregnancy-induced hypertension
2. At risk for preterm labor/ threatened miscarriage
3. Placenta previa
4. Uncontrolled diabetes or sickle cell disease
5. Severe anemia
6. Multiple gestation with complications
