𝗬𝗲𝘀! 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗻 #𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗧𝗕: 𝗖𝗙𝗜 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗪𝗧𝗕𝗗 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆
From 2021–2026, 𝗖𝗙𝗜 𝗔𝗖𝗙 𝗡𝗖𝗥 screened 259,438 high-risk individuals, initiated treatment for 7,763 patients, and provided TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) to 3,059 individuals — demonstrating its strong commitment to early detection, treatment, and prevention.
Building on these efforts, on March 30, 2026, in commemoration of World TB Day, the City of Las Piñas joined us in uniting communities in the shared mission to . Led by Culion Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the Department of Health – Metro Manila Center for Health Development, the Local Government Unit, the City Health Office, and the Barangay Health Workers of Las Piñas, the event transformed the covered court into a space of action, awareness, and hope.
The event featured a Zumba session, an engaging memory game through the CFI Booth, and free chest X-rays for 85 individuals through the Active Case Finding Project—highlighting the power of collective action.
In his inspirational message, CFI Executive Director Mr. Eugenio M. Caccam, Jr. emphasized the significance of World TB Day, stressing that prevention is better than cure—and that getting tested is both a personal and collective responsibility.
The following local health and community leaders also graced the event: Mr. RJ Ferrer Jr., RN, MPH, Regional NTP Nurse Coordinator; Dr. Juliana Gonzalez, Officer-in-Charge of the Las Piñas City Health Office; Hon. Eduardo Robles, Barangay Captain of Brgy. Elias Aldana, and Dr. Marcos Antonio Alcantara Jr., E. Aldana Health Center Physician and NTP Medical Coordinator.
Together, we move closer to a TB-free future where no one is left behind.
