Blossom: A Mental Health Advocacy "Let yourself bloom"

Definition of bloom: "a peak period or stage of development". Self acceptance and self growth is no easy feat- which is valid.

Mental health is often frowned upon by many people, regardless of age, s*x, race, and gender. This type of thinking results in many people thinking it's wrong to feel negative emotions; people need to educate each other further when it comes to underlying mental health problems which may hinder their everyday lives, making it difficult to live freely. Everyone deserves to feel loved, accepted, and valid. We hope our drawings and words can reflect that. We strive to help those in pain. Thank you for stopping by!

Good day to everyone!

Blossom is here to show a video that talks about a mental disorder that is highly stigmatized and discriminated for it is barely talked about. This disorder is called Schizophrenia.

This video is very informative for it discusses the disorder through people who have been diagnosed with it and experience it on a daily basis. It allows people with this disorder to speak up and be heard; they are given a platform to help outsiders understand them more.

We sincerely hope you can take a bit out of your time to watch this video for it helped us emphatize with those misunderstood people.

Please help us lessen the stigma🌻!!

I spent a day with people with schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder to learn the truth about these highly misunderstood disorders.🔴SUBSCRIBE ▸ https:/...

Hello everyone! Blossom has kind of been busy these past few weeks so sorry for the unscheduled uploads 😅

Speaking of being busy, here is a little daily reminder to always look after your own self and health when a lot has been going on! When the time is given to you, go give yourself a break by taking care of yourself like by eating, drinking water, or taking a shower, and by doing the things you love like listening to music, reading, playing games, and so much more.

Remember to not feel guilty just because you're relaxing means you're just lazy, you deserve the time for yourself for all the hard work you've been doing! >;DD

Hello Everyone!

Blossom is back at it again to share a youtube video that really resonates with us🌻

This video may not resonate with everyone for it may not look like much at first glace with its simple message.
It shows the perspective of someone that recently took their own life. It's about how much they noticed the little things they missed in their life, somethings they will never be able to feel again. The smallest of details of which they took for granted, and how much they're able to appreciate how they were able to experience such things; such as eating breakfast.
The video shows this person describing the little, beautiful things they experienced everyday in their life, and yet the message of this video is very deep and meaningful for it encourages those struggling with suicidal thoughts to continue living- 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨.

We suggest giving this beautiful video a watch for words cannot describe its true beauty and meaning. Some things are better seen rather than read. 🌻

Good Day Everyone!

Blossom would like to share this short film that can help people who fears the unknown.

"The Ladder" is a short, thought-provoking animated film about the appearance of a mysterious ladder that has gained the attraction and curiosity of people ranging from different backgrounds.

This short film emphasizes the key reason of the ladder's existence- for this is a metaphor for fear. Fear is something that everyone experiences differently, for there are those who learn how to conquer it, or those who choose to use science as a form of coping.

There have been rumors about this ladder, even earning the nickname "The ladder to insanity" for legend says "whoever has climbed that ladder has yet to return, and to those that did return- never came out the same again".
Some may see this change as a bad thing, but overcoming fear and dealing through it will truly change you, and you won't be the same person.
You may come out a little insane for climbing the ladder that leads to the unknown, but you must keep moving forward- there is nothing else to do except keep moving forward.

This is why people choose to climb that unpredictable, scary, unknown, ladder, even if it does change you🌻

Your journey begins at the bottom of the ladder. You heard rumors about it– It leads to insanity… People who climb it don’t come back… And if they do come ba...

Good evening everyone!
as promised last week, here is our latest poster advocating mental health💛

This specific poster is about acceptance.
Accepting the pain within yourself is a big step to letting yourself grow and mature-- never belittle your tiny steps towards a healthier mind and soul because everyone heals differently. Allwoing yourself to shed some tears along the way means you are allowing yourself to grow and help yourself be better, hence the plants metaphorically sprouting out. Of course, you can't expect a smooth transition towards a healthy mind because this is a slow process, this is why it's okay to have some withering plants along the way.

Getting hurt along the way is part of the process, making your feelings of doubt valid🌻
