We are glad to share that the Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting with SPED teachers, therapist and parents was successfully conducted, fostering collaboration, agreement, and alignment on the student’s goals and support strategies.

A heartfelt thank you to the parent who attended and actively participated in the meeting. We look forward to supporting the child’s continuous growth and success.

In the Philippines, schools and learning centers are legally required to provide an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for children with disabilities. This is mandated under Republic Act No. 11650, also known as the Inclusive Education Law. It ensures that every child with a disability receives a customized education plan that supports their specific needs and learning goals—promoting equal access to quality education for all.

What is an IEP?
An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is a formal document that outlines a tailored special education program for a child with a disability. It is designed to address their unique strengths, needs, and challenges.

An IEP usually includes:
A description of the child’s current academic and functional performance
Clearly defined and measurable learning objectives
Specific services, accommodations, and interventions the school will provide
Methods for tracking and reporting progress
A team of people involved in supporting the child (including teachers, therapists, and parents)
