Nagsagawa ng ocular inspection sa bagong hospital building ng Pioduran Memorial District Hospital (PDMDH) sa Caratagan, Pioduran, Albay ang Committee Chair on Health ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan, 1st District Board Member Hon. Marian Caroline Ziga–So, at Committee Chair on Public Works and Infrastructure, 3rd District Board Member Emmanuel C. Ribaya.

Kasama rin sa inspeksyon sina OIC–Provincial Health Officer Dr. Karl Hegel M. Ante, OIC–Chief of Hospital ng PDMDH Dr. Aires O. Perillo, Cleo Mangente, Administrative Officer at mga kinatawan mula sa Provincial Engineer’s Office.

Layunin ng inspeksyon na matukoy ang kahandaan ng pasilidad at ang iba pang mga isyung dapat matugunan bago ang nakatakdang pagbubukas ng ospital.

The Provincial Government of Albay has received a formal invitation from the 𝑩𝒊𝒄𝒐𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 (𝑩𝑹𝑯𝑴𝑪) 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒔 – 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝑨𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒘 to participate in their Mobile Blood Donation Drive as part of their internship training program with the theme: “𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒍 𝒏𝒂 𝑼𝒎𝒂𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒂 𝑫𝒖𝒈𝒐”.

This activity aims to support patients in need by promoting voluntary blood donation and will be conducted in coordination with the BRHMC Blood Bank, PAMET Albay Chapter, and the Philippine Nurses Association Albay Chapter.

𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀:
•16–60 years old (16–17 years old must have parental consent)
•At least 50 kg (110 lbs)
•In good health on the day of donation
•At least 6 to 8 hours of sleep prior to donation
•No alcohol intake within the last 24 hours
•No recent tattoo or piercing (within the past 12 months)
•No recent major surgery or serious illness
•Bring a valid ID

DOH VALENTINE’S DAY REMINDER #2:

GUMAMIT NG PROTEKSYON SA PAKIKIPAGTALIK

Kung nasa dating stage pa lang o hindi pa kasal, pinakamabuti ang paggamit ng proteksyon sa pakikipagtalik.

Hindi sapat ang tiwala lang pagdating sa s*x – dapat may assurance ka rin pagdating sa proteksyon laban sa s*xually transmitted infections gaya ng HIV.

Maging proactive: libre lang makukuha ang combination prevention tulad ng condoms, lubricants, at pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) para masiguro ang proteksyon mula sa HIV kung makikipagtalik.

ANG INTIMACY AY DAPAT NA PINAG-UUSAPAN AT PINAGPAPLANUHAN

Pagdating sa pakikipagdate, mahalagang pinag-uusapan ang consent at personal boundaries ng isa’t isa.

Ang pangungulit, pilitan, at hindi pagrespeto sa desisyon tungkol sa physical intimacy ay nakakaapekto hindi lang sa relasyon kundi pati sa kalusugan at kaligtasan.

Paalala ng DOH: It’s okay to say “no” or “not yet”.
