πππ«ππ‘ ππ, ππππ || The Albay Provincial Nutrition Committee (PNC) held its 1st Quarter Meeting for CY: 2026 at the AECID Hall, APSEMO Building, Legazpi City.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Perfecto Menjo Ofrasio Jr., the duly authorized representative of Governor Noel Rosal, Chairperson of the Committee.
Key agenda items were thoroughly discussed during the meeting, including: (1) the presentation of the approved resolutions for the 2026 Local Nutrition Action Plan (LNAP); (2) the presentation of Executive Order No. 54, s. 2025, which establishes the Ad-Interim Provincial Nutrition Committee to complement the Provincial Nutrition Cluster during times of emergency and disaster; (3) the presentation of the 2025 e-Operation Timbang (OPT) Plus results, highlighting the provinceβs nutritional status; (4) updates on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI) Pro; and (5) the presentation of inter-agency programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), including accomplishments and proposed plans for implementation.
The meeting was well-attended by heads and authorized representatives from various provincial offices, NGAs and NGOs. Participating offices and institutions included the Provincial Health Office (PHO), Albay Provincial Agriculture Office (APAO), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), Provincial Planning and Development Office, Provincial Budget Office, Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office (APSEMO), Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), Department of Education (DepEd) Albay, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Albay, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Albay, National Food Authority (NFA) Albay, Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Albay, as well as partner organizations such as the Social Action Center of Legazpi and Simon of Cyrene, along with other key stakeholders and committee members.
The strong participation of these agencies underscored the continued commitment to strengthening collaborative efforts in advancing the provinceβs nutrition agenda.
