Brain breaks are a powerful and effective way to address self-regulation needs, help with attention, and impact learning in the classroom.

Brain breaks are movement breaks! They are movement opportunities that enable all of us to re-group and re-focus. Learning can be exhaustive to our kids. They are struggling through the dayโ€™s activities while sometimes striving to pay attention through sensory processing issues or executive functioning needs.

Our very own SPED Teachers, Teacher Dennis and Teacher Christian, led the session with energy and heart. They walked all the participants through early signs of developmental concerns, common classroom challenges, and practical, compassionate strategies that help every child feel supported and understood.

We were also glad to have our Directress, Ms. Jen Arisga, together with our dedicated AKTC teachers, present throughout the session, showing full support for continuous learning and growth.
