Knocking on your kind hearts to offer prayers and goodwill donations for our dear friend and neighbor, Jeany Vil Agulane. She is a 14 year old girl and she is the only child of her parents. Last year, she was diagnosed with tumor in the lungs. She had an open heart surgery last October 14, 2019 at the Philippine Heart Center. The hospitalization and operation were a bit costly, but with the help of their family and friends, they were able to manage somehow. The following months was not easier, her parents had to work harder to support her medications and treatments.
Last April of this year, she had a ct scan, x-ray and 1 session of chemotherapy. During her check up last week, she received an unexpected news despite of continuous medication. Another mass was seen and because of that, she will need to undergo another operation as soon as possible. After the operation, a biopsy will be done, and they will then know how many chemotherapy sessions are still needed.
Reality hit them like an out of control truck on a downhill freeway. Most of their resources was depleted by their previous medical obligations. They have so little left and the upcoming expenses are greather than they could ever be ready for. Just like a typical teenager, Jeany Vil dreams of finishing her studies and live a healthy normal life. Any amount will go a long way.
