โWith the theme โSynergy for Change: Advancing Adolescent Health Together,โ the convention aimed to strengthen the advocacy for adolescent health and well-being through collaboration among various stakeholders.

โThe two-day event was organized by the Department of Health โ Center for Health Development CALABARZON (DOH CHD IV-A) in partnership with Provincial Health Offices, the World Health Organization (WHO), AHDP Focal Persons, the Department of Education (DepEd), T.E.E.N.Dig Nurses, Peer Navigators, and youth representatives from different schools across the CALABARZON region.

โOne of the major highlights of the convention was the official launch of the TEENDig Kabataan Manual of Procedure, a comprehensive guide designed to assist schools, local governments, and organizations in implementing adolescent health programs across the region. The manual serves as a blueprint for promoting physical, mental, and emotional wellness among young people.

โ๐คDr. Zaldy Collado, LPT, PhD, Principal Investigator, DLSU-SDRC, who presented the Formative Assessment of the T.E.E.N.Dig Kabataan! Kalusugan ay Pahalagahan Project;

โ๐คDr. Darren Venturina, Head, Research and Development Unit, DOH CHD IV-A, who shared perspectives from the Research and Innovation Development Unit (RIDU);

โ๐คDr. Monica Stephanie Moreno, RMT, MD, Medical Officer III/Manager, AHDP, DOH CHD IV-A, who delivered a Call to Action: Collective Action for Comprehensive Adolescent Health;

โ๐คMr. Rodolfo Anacan Jr., RN, from WHO Philippines, who discussed the Rationale and Overview of the TEENDig Kabataan Manual of Procedures; and

โ๐คDr. Olivia Lawe Davies, Deputy WHO Representative, who extended WHOโs full support for adolescent health initiatives.

โThrough the active engagement of the Provincial Health Office, the event underscored the provinceโs steadfast commitment to promoting youth health programs, fostering a generation that is healthier, more resilient, and empowered to lead positive change.

โThe participation of IMINHSโTEENnig Pakinig Officers in this regional convention for the second time exemplifies the schoolโs dedication to nurturing informed, proactive, and health-conscious young leaders who contribute to building stronger communities.
