Regional Director of DOH MIMAROPA Visits Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital , Inspects Facilities and Supports Upgrade to Level 1 Heath Facility

On March 11, 2026 Department of Health MiMaRoPa Pesonnel lead by Regional Director Dr. Rodolfo Antonio M. Albornoz together with the Provincial DOH Office staff was welcomed by Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital staff. This visit included an evaluation of the hospitals infrastucture, medical equipment, staffing capacity and overall service delivery. He also took time to meet hospital’s chief and section supervisors to understand their working conditions and address any concerns they might have. The hospital’s management emphasized the importance of such an upgrade, as the current infrastucture and equipments are sometimes insufficient to handle the increasing number of patients, particularly those requiring immediate medical attentions. His visit to the hospital represents a significant step forward in healthcare development. His full support for the hospital’s uograde to level 1 facility signals a hopeful future for improved medical care and an enhanced ability to meet the needs of people in the southern part of Romblon. Starting February 26, 2026, ang Outpatient Department (OPD) services po ay suspended until further notice dahil sa ginagawang renovation sa loob ng ospital.

Priority po namin ang safety ng ating mga pasyente habang inaayos ang pasilidad. Humihingi po kami ng paumanhin sa anumang abala.
