The fragrance features notes of oud, sandalwood, musk, Turkish rose, and other unnamed notes. Did you know that rubbing your wrists together to blend perfume is WRONG!!

Most of the time, we observe people pressing or rubbing their wrists together while testing fragrances, but this is absolutely inappropriate! Rubs cause friction, which heats up the skin and changes how the smell travels through it. Your fragrance's top and middle notes may even change as a result of the process. For instance, the scent would lose its crisp, invigorating sense if your top note is floral, which is fairly typical.

Spray your perfume over your pressure points, then wait for it to sink into your skin to maintain the fragrance's integrity and prolong its shelf life. Press your wrists together very gently if you must.

While this may sound gross, it’s used in perfumes with an ocean-like, fresh scent like the cult fave Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue Eau De Toilette, $110. The strange substance is made of fish beaks that make their way into the whale’s intestines. Here, a mucus binds them together over years before the rock-like mass is ejected by the whale and washed up on the shoreline! Pretty wild stuff!
