FNLGHTC Nurse Leaders Earn National Recognition at ANSAP Gabi ng Parangal 2026
The Far North Luzon General Hospital and Training Center (FNLGHTC) proudly celebrates the national recognition of two distinguished nurse leaders from its Nursing Service Division who have successfully met the rigorous standards of the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines, Inc. (ANSAP) through the Nurse Managers Certification Program.
After undergoing a highly competitive and multi-level national screening process involving applicants from different regions across the country, the following FNLGHTC nurse managers were conferred their respective certifications:
Ms. Eleanor S. San Mateo – Certified Nurse Manager Level V
Mr. Ariel James C. Cabulagan – Certified Nurse Manager Level IV
The prestigious recognition was formally bestowed during the ANSAP Gabi ng Parangal, held in celebration of the Association’s Annual National Convention on March 25, 2026, at The Manila Hotel.
The ANSAP Nurse Managers Certification Program is a nationally recognized professional development initiative designed to strengthen nursing leadership and ensure that nurse administrators meet the highest standards of competence in healthcare management. The certification process evaluates candidates based on core leadership and managerial competencies, particularly in the areas of planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and research—essential pillars in ensuring effective nursing service delivery, patient safety, and organizational excellence.
Through the attainment of these certifications, the FNLGHTC nurse managers have demonstrated a high level of competence in strategic nursing leadership, evidence-based management, and the advancement of quality improvement initiatives in nursing practice.
Carrying the banner of FNLGHTC, this milestone underscores the institution’s unwavering commitment to nurturing highly competent nurse leaders who uphold national standards and champion excellence in healthcare service and education.
This achievement not only elevates the professional standing of the FNLGHTC Nursing Service Division but also reinforces the hospital’s role as a center for leadership development and a training ground for globally competent healthcare professionals, ultimately translating to stronger health systems, empowered nursing leadership, and better patient outcomes for the communities it serves.
