This visit is a vital step in our mission to: ✅ Elevate Patient Care: Bringing national medical standards to the heart of Apayao and nearby provinces. ✅ Empower Local Doctors: Enhancing our Residency Training to produce top-tier specialists. ✅ Modernize Healthcare: Ensuring our community has access to expert internal medicine without traveling far.

The P*P Upper North Eastern Luzon Chapter (UNEL) conducted a community clean-up drive in Punta, Aparri, Cagayan, with active participation from the FNLGHTC– Department of Internal Medicine and the Barangay Officials of Punta, Aparri. The photos captured during the activity show the area before, during, and after the clean-up, reflecting the collective effort to improve environmental sanitation and promote community well-being.

After the clean-up drive, a health lecture on leptospirosis awareness and prevention. The session aimed to educate the community on the risks, symptoms, and preventive measures associated with leptospirosis, particularly in flood-prone and unsanitary environments.

This initiative demonstrates the shared commitment of the P*P UNEL Chapter, FNLGHTC–Department of Internal Medicine, and the local barangay officials to fostering a cleaner, safer, and more informed community.
