Fortis Recovery and Treatment Center
Today we worked on a session about ego, fear, and recovery.
The residents learned how ego blocks growth and how fear keeps old habits alive.
They practiced real situations through group roleplay.
They learned how to pause, respond with honesty, and take responsibility.
They saw the difference between reacting and choosing recovery.
Small actions build long-term change.
We guide them through these steps every day.

Art Therapy Session: “Broken but Whole”

Today’s group session at FORTIS Recovery and Treatment Center in Malabanias, Angeles City, Pampanga was powerful. We guided participants through an art therapy activity where they drew their favorite things, tore them apart, and then pieced them back together.

The process brought out deep emotions—sadness, reflection, and hope. In the end, everyone saw that even when things break, they can still be rebuilt into something meaningful.

Recovery is about healing, not perfection. It’s about learning to rebuild ourselves piece by piece.

**Dry Drunk Syndrome Lecture**

Today’s session at **FORTIS Recovery and Treatment Center** in Malabanias, Angeles City was engaging and insightful. We discussed **Dry Drunk Syndrome**—what happens when someone stops using substances but hasn’t fully embraced emotional and spiritual recovery.

The group shared their experiences inside the facility and asked deep questions that showed honesty and self-awareness. It was a reminder that recovery isn’t only about staying sober, but about changing the way we live and think every day.

**Recovery grows when understanding begins.**

Tale of the 2 Monks.
Harboring Resentments often hinder a person in treatment the chance to live a life filled with Joy and Happiness. Here at Fortis Recovery, we teach our residents how to let go of resentments and look at their participations on why they are not in a good standing in life.
