𝗣𝗔𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗟𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗬 𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗟𝗨𝗘𝗡𝗭𝗔-𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦

Ipinapaalala ng Department of Health Central Luzon Center for Health Development (DOH CLCHD) ang pag-iingat mula sa mga Influenza-like-illnesses (ILI) o mga mala-trangkasong sakit na nakahahawa at nagdudulot ng lagnat, pananakit ng ulo at katawan, masakit na lalamunan, panghihina, at sipon.

Bagamat kasalukuyang mas mababa ng 33% ang mga naitatalang kaso ng ILI sa Central Luzon ngayong taon kumpara noong 2024, mahalaga pa ring malaman ang tungkol sa mga mala-trangkasong sakit.

Ang ILI ay mga nakahahawang sakit na sanhi ng iba’t ibang virus o bacteria na nagdudulot ng infection sa ilong, lalamunan, at/o baga. Ano man ang edad ay maaaring tamaan nito, ngunit mas mataas ang tyansa ng mga komplikasyon sa mga bata, matatanda, buntis, at mga may karamdaman.

Ang mga mala-trangkasong sakit na ito ay naipapasa sa pamamagitan ng droplets na galing sa ubo o bahing ng taong may sakit, at paghawak sa bibig, ilong, at mata matapos humawak sa mga kontaminadong gamit.

Hinihikayat ng DOH CLCHD ang publiko na gawin ang mga hakbang para makaiwas sa ILI:
-Umiwas sa mga masisikip at matataong lugar;
-Takpan ang bibig at ilong kapag uubo o babahing;
-Magsuot ng face mask, lalo na kung lalabas;
-Maghugas ng kamay gamit ang sabon at malinis na tubig;
-Siguraduhin ang sapat na pahinga; at
-Uminom ng sapat na tubig at kumain ng masustansyang pagkain

Samantala, pinapayuhan naman ang mga may sintomas ng ILI na pansamantalang manatili sa bahay at umiwas sa pakikipagsalamuha, lalo na sa mga “high risk” na populasyon. Uminom din ng gamot tulad ng paracetamol kung nilalagnat.

Patuloy ang mga isinasagawang hakbang ng DOH CLCHD para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng mga ILI. Tinitiyak rin ng ahensya na walang dapat ipangamba ang publiko kaugnay nito, lalo pa at likas lang na tumataas ang kaso ng mga mala-trangkasong sakit sa panahon ng taglamig, partikular na ngayong “ber” months.

Ang mga mala-trangkasong sakit ay naiiwasan. Magpakonsulta at makipag-ugnayan sa pinakamalapit na healthcare provider para mapanatiling ligtas ang pamilya at sarili.

The Health Services Unit urges all students and employees to continue observing minimum public health standards practice good hygiene, maintain healthy habits, and wear a mask when necessary.
