Through out the years, the vital role of Pharmacist hasn't change from discovering new potential drug, providing healthcare information, to dispensing drugs in the community.

Today, the inevitable Covid-19 affects the lives of many filipino people. The pandemic drastically changed the beliefs of others on how to fight the virus. Our professional healthcare frontliners are committed to secure the safety and provide the appropriate medical care for the people, in order to 'flatten the curve'. However, due to the uncontrollable scenarios that keeps on piling, our fronliners are the ones that suffers greatly from this outbreak.

The essential role of Pharmacist didn't stop even when the virus propagate and when many cities starts to lockdown their borders. Their duty during this global crisis is to give highly constructive information, trying to 'debunk the myths' and encourage the people to stay home and practice social distancing.

Right now, the increase of demands to certain medicine implies to the shortage of supply. The duty of Community pharmacist is to give a bioequivalent medicine that will give the same quality & effectiveness. Due to this, people will still be complient to their medication.

In proportion to flattening the curve, the emerging role of pharmacist has led to evolve in solving and discovering new potential drug or vaccine with the use of 'Modern medicine practice'. With this advancement, either in months or a year we might have the solution for this crisis.

Community pharmacist, Hospital pharmacist, Clinical pharmacist, Industrial pharmacist, Digital pharmacist, Nuclear pharmacist, Quality Assurance, and Veterinary pharmacist - each one of them has a different role in the field of pharmaceutical industry, but they're all connected in one important function; where 'The Science and The Art of Medicine' relies the concept of providing healthcare to the society.

Ang antibiotics ay mga gamot na tumutulong labanan ang ating mga impeksyon. Ang maling paggamit nito ay maaaring magdulot ng masamang epekto. Wala nang tatalab na gamot kapag tayo ay nagkasakit at magiging “drug resistant” na ang mikrobyo. Kapag nangyari yan, madaling lalala ang sakit at maaari mo pang ikamatay. Paano ito maiiwasan?

1. Huwag basta-basta uminom ng antibiotic. Magpakonsulta muna sa doktor kung hindi mabuti ang pakiramdam.
2. Inumin ang antibiotic ayon sa payo ng doctor at pharmacist. Kumpletuhin ang inirisetang gamutan. Huwag itigil ang gamutan kahit makaramdam ng pagbuti sa mga unang araw ng pag-inom ng antibiotics.
3. Bumili lamang ng antibiotics sa mga lisensyadong botika ng FDA upang makasiguro na dekalidad ang iinuming gamot.
4. Huwag manghiraman o gumamit ng reseta na hindi laan sa iyo.

Maging bahagi ng solusyon. Gamitin nang wasto ang antibiotics.
