The 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 – 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 successfully participated in the 𝐊𝐅𝐏𝐎𝐏 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 held on January 31, 2026, at the FPOP Community Health Care Clinic.

The event gathered youth leaders and members from different clusters to strengthen collaboration, share updates, and reinforce collective commitment toward promoting adolescent and youth development, leadership, and community engagement.

The Maco Cluster actively took part in the discussions and activities, contributing to the shared vision of empowering young people and advancing KFPOP’s programs across Davao.

Together, we continue to build stronger youth networks for a healthier and more empowered generation.

Whether you are a long-time volunteer or someone looking for a meaningful way to start your journey in advocacy, this session is for you.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂:
We will be conferring on the legal armaments that protect our rights, specifically navigating the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act (RA 9262) and the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313). Leading the discourse is our very own Cluster Head, Ponciano, Jr. L. Apa, RSW, who will provide expert insights into how these laws function as shields in our daily lives.

𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 – 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 conducted a 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with the Municipal Health Office – Teen Center Focal Person and AOSRNHS Guidance Counselor earlier today, January 21, 2026.

The consultation focused on strengthening coordination and collaboration among stakeholders to better address the needs of adolescents and young people. Key discussions revolved around aligning programs, enhancing referral systems, and creating safe, inclusive, and youth-friendly spaces that support mental health, reproductive health, and overall well-being.

The organization extends its sincerest appreciation to all partners for the shared commitment and open dialogue. Through collective action and unified efforts, we continue to work toward sustainable initiatives that empower the youth and promote holistic development.

𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 – 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 was honored to take part in the 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝟭𝟬𝟭 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 with 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 organized by 𝗗𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗣-𝗦𝗜𝗗 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿.

During the activity, 𝗞𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 highlighted essential information on HIV; its modes of transmission, prevention, and the importance of knowing one’s status. The discussion emphasized that access to accurate information, safe testing services, and stigma-free counseling empowers individuals and communities to make responsible and informed health decisions.

The organization extends its sincerest gratitude to 𝗗𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗣-𝗦𝗜𝗗 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 and all participants for the opportunity to collaborate in promoting awareness, prevention, and early detection. 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 – 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 conducted a 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 at the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 – 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 and met with its focal person, 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗮𝗱𝗼.

The visit served as a platform to discuss potential partnerships between 𝗞𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 and the Teen Center, focusing on creating more inclusive, youth-friendly, and accessible opportunities for adolescents and young people in the community.

We look forward to strengthening collaboration and working together toward programs that promote health, empowerment, and holistic youth development.

Today, 𝗞𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 emphasized the vital role of mental health in shaping our decisions, relationships, and overall well-being. The discussion highlighted the importance of self-awareness, emotional resilience, responsible choices can empower individuals, especially the youth, to live healthier and more informed lives. Mental health and HIV awareness are not isolated topics; they are deeply connected to education, prevention, and compassionate leadership.

𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 – 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 proudly took part in the 𝐃𝐝𝐎 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 through a meaningful speakership on 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.

During the session, 𝗞𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣 emphasized how effective time management strengthens leadership, decision-making, and personal accountability, especially among the youth. By sharing practical insights and real-life applications, the discussion aimed to empower young leaders to lead with purpose, balance, and discipline.

Davao City, Philippines – In an expansion of its regional advocacy, the Kabataang FPOP Maco Cluster successfully conducted a specialized Mental Health Awareness session for the adolescent learners of Governor Duterte National High School in Davao City.

The lecture was delivered by Al-khomsier M. Laja, RPm, CHRA, Cluster Head of Kabataang FPOP Maco. Drawing upon his clinical background as a Registered Psychometrician, Mr. Laja conferred with the students on the legal and psychological frameworks of well-being, specifically emphasizing the rights of the youth under Republic Act No. 11036 (The Mental Health Act).

The discourse focused on de-stigmatizing mental health struggles and empowering students to seek help, underscoring the state's policy to protect the fundamental right of every Filipino to mental health services. By engaging with students in the regional center, Kabataang FPOP reinforces its commitment to cross-boundary youth development, ensuring that comprehensive health education reaches key academic institutions regardless of geographical limits.

The Kabataang FPOP Maco Cluster expresses its profound gratitude and recognition to Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Talomo Proper for spearheading this initiative. Their leadership in prioritizing the psychosocial welfare of the youth serves as a benchmark for proactive local governance. We also extend our sincere thanks to the administration of Governor Duterte National High School for fostering a safe space where mental health is prioritized as a critical component of student success.
