In this session, parents learned how behavior is communication and how evidence-based strategies can be used at home to support learners with ASD.

📌 Key topics discussed:
✔️ The ABCs of Behavior Management (Antecedents, Behavior, Consequences)
✔️ How to use praise, shaping, modeling, and positive reinforcement ethically and effectively
✔️ Autism-affirming strategies grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Kazdin’s Method

The biggest takeaway? Teaching and praise always beat punishment.
