Strengthening our frontline response to medical emergencies. 🚑🏥

The Bangsamoro Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC) thru its Bangsamoro Regional Hospital and Medical Center- DFCM, in collaboration with the Southern Philippines Medical Center – Poison Treatment and Control Institute and Cotabato Regional and Medical Center – Toxicology Unit, successfully conducted a Training Workshop on the Recognition, Diagnosis, Initial Management, and Referral of Poisoning Cases on April 14, 2026 at the BRHMC Datu Kutob Ampatuan Auditorium.

Participants were selected healthcare staff from RHUs and hospitals across Maguindanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte, ensuring strengthened coordination and capacity at both community and hospital levels.

This initiative equips healthcare professionals with critical knowledge and skills to ensure timely, safe, and effective management of poisoning cases—reinforcing our commitment to quality care and patient safety.

Alamin ang mga karaniwang sintomas ng bleeding disorders tulad ng hemophilia:

🩸 Matagal na pagdurugo mula sa mga hiwa o sugat
💢 Madaling magkapasa o pagkakaroon ng pasa nang walang malinaw na dahilan
🤧 Madalas na pagdurugo ng ilong (nosebleeds)
🏥 Labis na pagdurugo matapos ang operasyon o dental procedures (tulad ng pagbunot ng ngipin)
🦴 Pananakit o pamamaga ng mga kasukasuan

Kung nararanasan ang mga ito, huwag ipagsawalang-bahala—kumonsulta agad sa doktor. Maagang pagkilala ay susi sa tamang gamutan at pag-iwas sa komplikasyon.

Strengthening Systems, Sustaining Impact.

The Bangsamoro Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC) actively participated in the SKILLS Lab Strategic and Sustainability Planning Workshop III in partnership with UNICEF on March 30, 2026.

Present during the activity were UNICEF’s Dr. Martin Parreño, Dr. Mark Benjamin Quiazon, and Mr. Kim Ian Tiu, whose expertise and insights contributed to meaningful discussions on strengthening healthcare systems and ensuring program sustainability.

Strengthening the Fight: BRHMC, IPHO-Maguindanao, and LGU-Datu Hoffer celebrate World TB Day 2026.

In observance of World TB Day 2026, the Bangsamoro Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC), in partnership with IPHO-Maguindanao thru RHU-Datu Hoffer, and the Local Government Unit of Datu Hoffer, conducted a series of activities in Datu Hoffer Municipal Covered Court, Maguindanao del Sur aimed at strengthening the fight against tuberculosis.

Free services including chest X-ray, GeneXpert testing, sputum examination, consultation with complete medication, health promotion activities, and active case finding were provided to the community—bringing essential TB services closer to the people.

Through continued collaboration and commitment, we move forward towards a healthier, TB-free Bangsamoro.
