I’m Jeremy Torres, but I am known to kids and parents as Teacher Je. I graduated from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute in 2023, where I was actively involved in the student community through the student council and various organizations.

Interestingly, Occupational Therapy wasn’t my first choice—I originally dreamed of pursuing filmmaking but everything changed during my immersion in pediatric therapy. Seeing how OTs helped children grow, learn, and gain independence left a lasting impression. I realized how meaningful this profession was, especially since playing, learning, and exploring the world with children has always come naturally to me.

As an occupational therapist, my goal is to create a playful, supportive, empowering and engaging environment where children feel comfortable learning new skills and ultimately achieving their fullest potential. Using sensory integration strategies, I help children develop better body awareness, regulation, and confidence so they can participate more successfully in daily activities.

Outside the clinic, I’m also a fashion and travel content creator. My love for filmmaking never left, so I continue to express that passion by creating content and documenting my experiences.

Why do some children like to be upside down?

Some of our vestibular seekers (has to do with the inner ear) like hanging upside down because it provides intense vestibular input that helps them feel grounded, regulated and more alert.

Other suggested activities for vestibular seekers: spinning, swinging and rocking.

Are your therapists PRC LICENSED???

Huwag na Huwag kayong pumayag na sinu-supervise lang ng licensed therapist ang therapy session pero ibang tao ang mag-hahandle sa anak ninyo.
