Here are 3 exercises to strengthen your deep neck muscles and your mid to upper back. Doing these regularly can help ease your current aches and pains.

1. The kneeling archery row strengthens the upper back and scapular stabilizers, improving posture and support for the neck. By enhancing scapular control and reducing upper trap overuse, it helps ease neck tension and promotes better cervical stability.
2. Foam roller reverse flys strengthen the posterior shoulder and upper back muscles while improving posture and neck support.
3. Neck retraction with a theraband strengthens the deep neck flexors and cervical stabilizers, helping correct forward-head posture. It trains the neck to stay aligned with the spine, reduces tension in the upper traps, and supports better neck stability and posture control.

Bands vs dumbbells: which one’s better for shoulder strengthening?

💪 Overhead Press, Side Raise Press, and Front Raise — these moves target your deltoids, rotator cuff, and stabilizers to build strong, mobile shoulders.

Struggling with low back pain? Here are 3 exercises to help strengthen your back!

1. Lunge with Trunk Rotation- Enhances Dynamic Core Stability. Trains the obliques and deep core to stabilize the spine against rotational forces during movement, promoting coordinated motion and protecting the lower back from excessive twisting.

2. Single-Leg Glute Bridge- Corrects Gluteal Weakness/Inhibition. Strengthens all three gluteal muscles (maximus, medius, minimus) for hip extension and pelvic stability. This prevents the lower back muscles from overcompensating for weak hip muscles.

3. Sidelying Loaded Thoracic Rotation- Improves Thoracic Spine Mobility. Increases the ability of the mid-back (thoracic spine) to rotate. This is critical because a stiff thoracic spine forces the lower back (lumbar spine) to perform excessive rotation, leading to mechanical stress, instability, and pain. Loading the movement can also enhance core activation.
