Transforming Healthcare Together: AVEGA at the 32nd AHMOPI Annual Convention
Change is never easy—but at AVEGA, we believe it’s essential. AVEGA proudly participated in the 32nd Annual Convention of the Association of Health Maintenance Organizations of the Philippines, Inc. (AHMOPI)—the country’s pioneering trade association for HMOs—affirming our commitment to lead meaningful change in the healthcare industry.
The annual convention began with an opening prayer led by Dr. Michael John Encarnacion, AVEGA’s Medical Director. This set the stage for a day of purposeful dialogue and collaboration.
Following this, our Chairman and current AHMOPI President, Mario Silos, delivered inspiring opening remarks that framed the day’s discussions around industry transformation. In a separate press release, he shared a powerful insight that resonated with the event’s theme: “The challenge of true change in a fluid environment must truly begin with ourselves. The courage to see who we are in a new light, the work we do in a digitized world, and the evolving needs of our countrymen are good starting points.”
This message reflects AVEGA’s core belief: healthcare must evolve to meet the needs of every Filipino—today and tomorrow.
