๐ช๏ธ Typhoon Preparedness Checklist ๐
โPreparing before a typhoon hits is crucial for safety.
โจHere is a comprehensive checklist to help you get ready:
โ๐ Emergency Kit & Supplies
โAssemble and store your emergency kit in a safe, accessible, and waterproof container. Aim for a 3-7 day supply per person.
โ๏ธโWater: At least one gallon per person per day for drinking and sanitation.
โ๏ธโFood: Non-perishable, easy-to-prepare food (canned goods, energy bars, dried fruit, etc.).
โ๏ธโCommunication & Light:
โFlashlight and extra batteries.
โBattery-powered or hand-crank radio (preferably with NOAA Weather Radio tone alert).
โCell phone with chargers and a power bank.
โ๏ธโHealth & First Aid:
โComplete First Aid Kit.
โ2-week supply of prescription medications and eyeglasses/contact lens solution.
โNon-prescription medicines (pain relievers, antacids, etc.).
โ๏ธโSanitation items: Moist towelettes, hand sanitizer, garbage bags, and plastic ties.

โClose and secure all windows and doors.

โTurn your refrigerator and freezer to the coldest setting and keep them closed as much as possible to keep food fresh longer if the power goes out.
โTurn off propane tanks.
โUnplug small appliances.
โFill bathtubs and containers with extra water for washing/flushing, in case water service is interrupted.

โFill your vehicle's gas tank. Gas stations may be closed or out of fuel after the storm.
