👀 LOOK: Earlier today, the Rural Health Unit of MALABANG, headed by our Municipal Health Officer Dr. Ayah S. Mohamad, attended the Synchronized Flag Ceremony and Launching of the Biometric System on November 03, 2025, at 8:00 AM, held at the Rural Health Unit of Malabang located at Mable, Malabang, Lanao del Sur.

All RHU staff, together with our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Workers (BNWs), were present and actively participated in the said activity, demonstrating unity, discipline, and commitment to public service.

Together, we uphold the values of teamwork and dedication as we continue to serve the people of Malabang with care, compassion and integrity. ♥️♥️♥️

School-Based Immunization (SBI) Program Launch! 💉👧🧒

The RHU, in coordination with the IPHO and DepEd, is expected to launch the School-Based Immunization (SBI) Program this coming September 30, 2025 at JASCES.

🗓️ The program will include an orientation and free immunization for:

🔹 Grade 1 & 7 learners – MR (Measles-Rubella) & TD (Tetanus-Diphtheria)

🔹 Grade 4 female learners – HPV (Human Papillomavirus)

This important initiative aims to protect and promote the health of our schoolchildren. Let’s work together for a healthier tomorrow! 🛡️💙

The Malabang Rural Health Unit, under the dedicated leadership of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Ayah S. Mohamad, would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the Barangay Chairman of Brgy. Sarang, Hon. Endawi Basir, along with the entire barangay council and community, for the warm and heartfelt welcome extended to us during the launching of the “Puro Kalusugan” initiative held in Brgy. Sarang, Malabang, Lanao del Sur.

Alhamdulillah, the event was a meaningful success—thanks to the collaborative spirit of our local leaders, health workers, and the residents of Sarang. We look forward to continuing this shared journey toward building a healthier, stronger Malabang.

✨ Family Planning and Breastfeeding Celebration✨

Last August 14, 2025, the Rural Health Unit of Malabang headed by Doc Ayah Mohamad successfully held a joint celebration of the Family Planning Program and Breastfeeding Awareness Month. The event highlighted the importance of informed choices in family planning and the life-long benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and child.

The activity was attended by Women of Reproductive Age (WRA), with special focus on first-time mothers. Through interactive discussions and counseling sessions, participants learned about different family planning methods, the role of responsible parenthood, and the proper practices of exclusive breastfeeding.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our health care providers, speakers and to all the participants for their active participation, and reaffrirms its commitment to empowering mothers with the knowledge and support they need in ther journey of parenthood. Special thanks also to IPHO-Lanao del Sur Safe Motherhood and Family Planning Program for their unwavering support in making this event a success.💜
