The City of Malabon University ROTC Unit conducted its 9th Training Day for Military Science 2 (MS-2) at the City of Malabon University Grounds, Pampano Corner, Maya-maya St., Brgy. Longos, Malabon City. The activity was organized by the ROTC Training Staff, Graduate Military Assistant, and Cadet Officers, led by the Admin NCO, under the supervision of COL ROMMEL M AGPAOA INF (GSC) PA, Commandant. The MS-2 students were formed into a battalion for accounting and checking of attendance to ensure proper monitoring of cadet participation, discipline, and compliance with the ROTC training requirements.
At 0830H, the cadets proceeded to their respective rooms for the lectures on Survival Techniques 2 and Combat Training for the Individual Soldier, delivered by the Admin NCO, Sgt Mary Joy M San Pascual PA (Res), Sgt Manny Cardenas PA (Res) and Sgt Manny C Mabansag PA (Res). The purpose of the lectures was to equip the cadets with fundamental knowledge and practical concepts on survival skills and individual combat readiness, enabling them to respond effectively to challenging situations while strengthening their sense of responsibility, preparedness, and service to the nation.
At 1150H, the ROTC training staff organized the MS-2 students for announcement and dismissal at 1200H formally dismissed, marking the successful completion of the training day with no untoward incidents transpired.
