In the 4 days of our mission we treated a total of 1238 animals 👏👏👏👏👏
we did 536 surgery’s
270 castrations
266 spaying
390 rabies vaccinations
302 deworm
10 other treatments

We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Deyven N. Oriondo our Vet mission creational partner from the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of Malay, Aklan, and Dr. Ma. Cyrosa Leen Mabel C. Siñel from the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian in Kalibo, for their coordination and support in bringing together the veterinary surgical teams.❤️❤️❤️

We were honored this year to be joined by Jerry Alcantara, President of the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association, and returning Veterinarian Mitzi Padrinao, President of the Philippine Animal Hospital Association and their teams.❤️❤️❤️

77 veterinarians from the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist - Malay, the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist- in Kalibo, the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), PVMA Western Visayas Chapter, the Philippine Animal Hospital Association (PAHA), Vets Love Nature, the Coast Guard Veterinary Unit – Western Visayas, Office of the Provincial Veterinarian - province of iloilo, the Provincial Veterinarian Office -San Jose, Antique, and City Veterinarian office - Cadiz City Negros occidental made this mission possible. ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️

Your efforts have made a real and lasting impact on reducing the number of stray animals and helping to keep Boracay Island rabies-free. The long hours, skilled hands, and unwavering dedication we witnessed were truly moving. 📢 FINAL REMINDER – Vet Mission Boracay 2025 (Mainland Malay) 🐾
Happening TOMORROW – Monday, August 11

📍 Locations:
• Poblacion Malay Covered Court
• Caticlan Covered Court
🕗 Start Time: 8:00 AM – registration is on-site, first come, first served.

✂️ If your pet is coming for surgery:
• No food or water 8–12 hours before surgery – feed them tonight, then nothing tomorrow morning. (This is very important for their safety.)
• Must have an updated anti-rabies vaccine (at least 2 weeks before surgery, not more than 1 year old)
• Limit: 1 dog per person, 2 cats per cage per person
• Dogs must be on a leash; cats must be in a cage or secure box
• Be ready to stay for aftercare instructions after surgery.

💉 For Anti-Rabies Vaccination Only:
• First come, first served
• Dogs leashed, cats in cage or box

✅ Please check you have everything ready tonight — leash or cage, vaccine record, and no feeding before surgery. Let’s make tomorrow a safe and successful day for our furry friends! 🐶🐱

🕗 Oras ng Simula: 8:00 AM – On-site ang rehistrasyon, first come, first served.

✂️ Para sa mga alagang sasailalim sa surgery:
• Walang pagkain o tubig 8–12 oras bago ang surgery – pakainin ngayong gabi, pagkatapos ay wala nang pagkain o tubig bukas ng umaga. (Mahalaga ito para sa kaligtasan ng alaga.)
• Dapat may updated na bakuna kontra rabies (hindi bababa sa 2 linggo bago ang surgery at hindi lagpas ng 1 taon)
• Limitasyon: 1 a*o kada tao, 2 pusa kada kulungan kada tao
• Ang mga a*o ay dapat nakatali; ang mga pusa ay nasa kulungan o matibay na kahon
• Maghanda na manatili para sa aftercare instructions pagkatapos ng surgery.

💉 Para sa Anti-Rabies Vaccination lamang:
• First come, first served
• A*o ay nakatali, pusa ay nasa kulungan o kahon
