In the 4 days of our mission we treated a total of 1238 animals πππππ
we did 536 surgeryβs
270 castrations
266 spaying
390 rabies vaccinations
302 deworm
10 other treatments
We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Deyven N. Oriondo our Vet mission creational partner from the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of Malay, Aklan, and Dr. Ma. Cyrosa Leen Mabel C. SiΓ±el from the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian in Kalibo, for their coordination and support in bringing together the veterinary surgical teams.β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
We were honored this year to be joined by Jerry Alcantara, President of the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association, and returning Veterinarian Mitzi Padrinao, President of the Philippine Animal Hospital Association and their teams.β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
77 veterinarians from the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist - Malay, the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist- in Kalibo, the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), PVMA Western Visayas Chapter, the Philippine Animal Hospital Association (PAHA), Vets Love Nature, the Coast Guard Veterinary Unit β Western Visayas, Office of the Provincial Veterinarian - province of iloilo, the Provincial Veterinarian Office -San Jose, Antique, and City Veterinarian office - Cadiz City Negros occidental made this mission possible. β€οΈπΎβ€οΈπΎβ€οΈ
Your efforts have made a real and lasting impact on reducing the number of stray animals and helping to keep Boracay Island rabies-free. The long hours, skilled hands, and unwavering dedication we witnessed were truly moving.
