Both facilities are now officially recognized as having Functional Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems under the FEMRACE scale โ€” a big step forward in delivering faster, more efficient, and patient-centered care for every Malaynon.

Please be informed that Blood Chemistry Tests at the Malay (Tabon, Caticlan) Primary Care Facility Clinical Laboratory will be unavailable on April 1, 2026 (Wednesday).

Regular laboratory services will resume on April 8, 2026.

The Local Government Unit of Malay, under the leadership of Mayor Frolibar S. Bautista, through the Municipal Health Office, successfully provided free medical and laboratory examinations to 159 Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) in compliance with RA 7883.

Laboratory services included:
โ€ข Complete Blood Count (with Blood Typing)
โ€ข Urinalysis
โ€ข Blood Chemistry (FBS, Uric Acid, BUN, Creatinine, Lipid Profile, SGOT, SGPT)

This initiative ensures that our BHWs remain physically and mentally fit as they continue to serve as frontliners in delivering essential healthcare services in the community.

The Municipal Health Office extends its sincere appreciation to all BHWs for their dedication and commitment to public health.
