In compliance with Malay Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), Memorandum No. 74, s. 2025 and Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) Memorandum No. 75, s. 2025, Ciriaco S. Tirol Hospital Employees and Patients actively participated in the Simultaneous Earthquake and Tsunami Evacuation Drill held on 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌

This municipality-wide initiative aims to strengthen preparedness, enhance coordination, and raise awareness in anticipation of potential earthquake and tsunami events—ensuring the safety and readiness of every sector in our community.

Through this activity, CSTH reaffirms its commitment to disaster resilience, emergency response, and community safety in alignment with local and regional disaster preparedness efforts.

CIRIACO S. TIROL HOSPITAL HEALTH AWARENESS INITIATIVE

In line with our strong commitment to promoting health and wellness among the community, Dr. Karol Mark M. Lachica - Chief of Hospital I and Mrs. Melanie G. Tejada, RN, MAN - Chief Nurse of Ciriaco S. Tirol Hospital - BEST Clinic successfully conducted a series of Health Awareness Seminars for the employees of Feliz Hotel Boracay on September 30, 2025.

The sessions covered essential topics such as:
✅ HIV & AIDS Awareness
✅ Monkeypox (Mpox) Prevention and Awareness
✅ Tuberculosis Awareness and Prevention
✅ Mental Health Awareness and Support

These seminars aimed to enhance knowledge, promote preventive measures, and encourage a healthier and more supportive work environment.

The Health District 4 DHB Meeting successfully convened to discuss the important roles and responsibilities of the District Health Board in the implementation of Universal Health Care (UHC) and resource financing for the succeeding years.

The meeting was attended by the municipalities of Kalibo, New Washington, Banga, and Balete, with technical assistance from the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and the Provincial DOH Office.

🤝 This activity highlights the strong collaboration among local government units and health partners to ensure accessible, sustainable, and people-centered health services in Aklan.
