🩷I have been receiving messages asking for donated breastmilk for CS mothers. I understand the worry of not having milk during the first day.

🩷However, our goal for breastfeeding is sustainable supply. Starting with donated BM for feeding can disrupt the breastmilk supply chain resulting to delay in the let-down of the mother's milk.

🩷In addition to that, unscreened donors+unpasteurized breastmilk poses risk for transmission of infection to newborns (particularly HIV).

🩷 So parents, let’s make a switch to seeking lactation coaching first on the 1st day of birth before asking for bm donation.

🩷This is SAFER for both your breastmilk supply and your baby. Plus, you dont need to worry on running out of donated bmilk.

🩷Announcement🩷
Hello dear clients!
I will be taking a break from Home Service starting Sept 30 until further notice. Meantime, I can only accept in clinic and hosp visit during weekends at Malaybalay City. Nothing to worry though!😉 Just going through some family transitions. 🏠

For non urgent breastfeeding and complementary feeding concerns, I can accept online counseling. Prenatal and postnatal massage are still available at Heartstuff Clinic per appointment.

We're just going through some bits of restructuring so we can serve our mommy clients better. Stay tuned for our new services! 😊
