Due to strong and ongoing interest, and considering the upcoming holiday season, we have decided to extend our Biggest Loser challenge through January 2026 (tentative last week of January) instead of ending it in December
2025. The holidays often bring busy schedules and celebrations that can make it difficult to focus on weight loss.
Extending the challenge gives everyone more time, beyond the holiday rush, to achieve meaningful and sustainable results in a healthier way.

It is with great honor that we share a significant milestone achieved by the Medical Clinic Staff, including the Satellite Nurses, one nurse from the main clinic, and our University Physician, who have all been conferred as School Health Consultant 1 after successfully completing the Interactive Course for School Health Personnel. We also extend our congratulations to Dr. May Princes Ocaya for becoming a member of the Philippine Association for Physicians in School Health Inc.
This important achievement strengthens our capacity to deliver comprehensive and holistic health care to the Bukidnon State University community. By equipping our medical team with advanced skills and knowledge in school health, we ensure better health promotion, illness prevention, and responsive care tailored to the unique needs of our students, faculty, and staff. This milestone marks a vital step toward fostering a healthier campus environment, enhancing well-being, and supporting academic success through proactive and integrated health services.
We would also like to sincerely thank Bukidnon State University for providing this valuable opportunity for the professional growth and continuing education of our medical staff. Your support is instrumental in empowering us to serve the community better.

The Medical Unit of Bukidnon State University (BukSU), in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross Bukidnon Chapter, Dental Clinic, and University Health and Safety Unit, successfully conducted a 2-day Occupational First Aid training on Basic Life Support, Bandaging, and AED. The first day focused on the theoretical foundations of first aid, CPR, and AED, while the second day provided hands-on training in CPR, bandaging, emergency carries, and real-life emergency response. This training specifically empowered BukSU personnel, including OVPCASSS, faculty members involved in both on-campus and off-campus activities, as well as safety teams, equipping them with essential life-saving skills to safeguard the university community.
