Good evening, distinguished guests, dear colleagues, partners in the pharmaceutical industry and my beloved PSO-HNS family.

Tonight is a historic night for our Society.

We gather not only in formal attire, not only in celebration, but in deep gratitude — as we mark 70 years of the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery… seventy years of service, training, leadership, and nation-building through ORL-HNS.

Your presence tonight means so much to us. It affirms what PSO-HNS has built for seven decades is recognized not only within our specialty, but across the entire Philippine health system.

For 70 years, PSO-HNS has stood on the pillars of Professionalism, Service with Excellence, Outstanding Education and Research, Honor and Integrity, Nationalism, and Solidarity.

These are not just words. These are the values that guide how we train our residents, how we serve our patients, how we work with institutions, and how we contribute to national health.

Tonight, we celebrate the leaders who came before us, the members who continue to serve today, and the young ORL-HNS fellows who will carry this Society into the next generation.

This Platinum Ball is not simply a social event. It is a symbol of legacy, unity, and commitment — that PSO-HNS will continue to be a partner of government, of PhilHealth, of the PMA, and of all stakeholders in improving the health of every Filipino.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the organizing committee, and the entire PSO-HNS, I welcome you all to this very special evening.

May tonight be filled with joy, fellowship, pride, and inspiration as we celebrate our Platinum Era together.

From hosting the 8th ASEAN ENT Congress to pioneering the Newborn Hearing Screening ordinance in Davao City, our history is a testament to the "combined effort" of our fellows. We honor our founders and past presidents who turned a fledgling organization into a pillar of value for the national society.
