Today, we commemorate 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲.

We honor 𝐃𝐫. 𝑱𝒐𝒔𝒆́ 𝑹𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒍—not only as a national hero, but as a young thinker, writer, and reformist who believed that ideas, education, and courage could awaken a nation. Last 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟏𝟓, 𝑷𝑨𝑮𝑺𝑨𝑲𝑳𝑶𝑳𝑶: 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒅, 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒅𝒂𝒎𝒉𝒊𝒏, 𝒂𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒔𝒂𝒌𝒍𝒐𝒍𝒐: 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕, 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒔 was successfully conducted via Zoom, led by 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒑 𝑴𝑯𝑷𝑺𝑺 in partnership with the 𝑷𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚 of Laguna State Polytechnic University–Los Baños.

The event was led by the esteemed speaker, 𝑴𝒓. 𝑰𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒂𝒉 𝑬𝒖𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝑮. 𝑷𝒆𝒋𝒊, 𝑴𝑨, 𝑹𝑷𝒎, 𝑹𝑷𝒔𝒚, with his talk about psychological first aid. In his discussion, he emphasized the importance of recognizing early signs of distress, offering calm and compassionate support, and guiding individuals toward safety and practical help. He highlighted how small, supportive actions can create a meaningful impact on someone experiencing emotional strain, especially during disasters or crises.

Let us continue advocating mental health for everyone, and may the lessons from this seminar guide us in building safer, more understanding, and more compassionate spaces for all.
