Kini na activity is in collaboration with DOH DCHD (PDOHO Davao Oriental), Provincial Health Office of Davao Oriental, CHO Mati, MHO Manay og MHO Caraga.

Kini na inisyatibo gisuportahan sa atong Provincial Government of Davao Oriental, Governor Nelson L. Dayanghirang, First District Representative of Davao Oriental, Nelson R. Dayanghirang, Jr., mga opisyales sa LGU Manay headed by Mayor Jon Marco Dayanghirang og LGU Caraga headed by Mayor Ronie Osnan.

Daghan kaayong salamat sa atong mga makanunayon na mga blood donors og sa Blood Collecting Unit ang Red Cross Davao Oriental Chapter. Salamat usab sa suporta na gihatag ni PB Kim Moralizon og sa Brgy Committee Chair on Health, Malvin Mamparo Bongan .

Salamat usab sa mga MHO Staff, BHWs Central volunteers og sa pa arrozcaldo ni VM Alfonso Benjie Lahora Jr. og assistance (generator fuel) gikan sa atong LGU headed by Mayor Jon Marco Dayanghirang.

Aduna kita nga pagahitaboon na Blood Letting ugmang adlawa, Biyernes, September 12, 2025 sa alas 8:00 sa buntag sa Manay Municipal Health Office .

Unsang mga benepisyo ang makuha sa pag donate og dugo?

Ang tawo nga kanunay mag donate og dugo dili lang makatabang sa nanginahanglan og dugo apan makahatag pod kining daghan benepisyo sa iyang kaugalingon:

1. Nakalibre ka sa konsultasyon.

Donor receives a free prior health screening plus mini blood test. There will be an HB level test, as well as a blood pressure and body check.

2. Makatabang pagdiscover kung naa ka sakit.

Blood donated is also tested for some major diseases and the donor is immediately informed in strict confidentiality if any of these tests show positive results.

3. Dako ang chances na malikay sa sakit na Cardiovascular Diseases.

Accdg to National Blood Transfusion Service, it reduces the probability of heart attack by as much as 88%. When you donate, you reduce the amount of iron in your body.

4. Malikay ka sa sakit na Cancer.

According to the Miller-Keystone Blood Center, consistent blood donation is associated with lowered risks of cancers, including liver, lung, colon, stomach and throat cancers.

Donating blood on a regular basis can also improve fitness. Donating one pint of blood (450 ml) burns 650 calories in donor’s body.

Donating blood helps to stimulate the production of new blood cells. This process of replenishment can help your body stay healthy and work more efficiently.

By donating blood you get are getting rid of excess iron that can damage your liver. Overload of iron has been linked to causing liver diseases and infections.

Donating blood can give you a sense of pride because you know you are helping save lives. Knowing you are doing good for others can help improve your emotional well-being.

3. Good physical health
4. Weight- 50 kg above
5. Pass the screening
6. Has adequate rest and hydrated

1. Positive for HIV and Hepa
2. Had tattoo, ear piercing for last 6 months
3. Drug user
4. With dental extraction for last 3 months or transfusion.

Agaw, ayaw pagkahadlok na mahutdan kaw ng dugo kay auntomatic na mabalik yan sa lawas mo sud ng 48 hrs o duha ka adlaw og mas madaigay na madayaw na benepisyo na mahatag ngadto sa panglawas mo.

September 8, 2025. The local Health board of the Local Government Unit of Manay headed by Jon Marco Dayanghirang, our Municipal Mayor as the presiding officer, together with the Committee Co-Chairman on Health, Municipal Councilor Sunshine Rosa Pang , DOH Representative, sir Roger Palec and other stakeholders conducted its 9th LHB meeting at MHO Conference Room at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Important agendas were tackled such as:

1. PhilHealth YAKAP Registration
2. PCF Accreditation (Manay Super Health Center)
3. Three Day Surgical Mission (October 15-18, 2025)
4. Other Matters
* Reporting/Post Evaluation of Conducted Activities
* Census of Animal Pets (Dogs Cats) - C/o MAO
* Healthy Workplace
* School Based Immunization

All necessary data’s were legibly discussed and presented well by the Officer in Charge of the Manay Municipal Health Office, Jenie B Lahora .

Towards the end, the Municipal Mayor thanked everyone for their presence and commitment to the LHB and assures of its continuous support towards the implementation of Universal Health Care for the people of Manay.
