It's the most wonderful time of the year! Holidays is just around the corner 🎄 Without the lending hand of sponsors and officers of SAKATUKI, this activity wouldn't be truly successful.

Simple gifts are given to children of Block 32 Extension for them to feel how holiday season should be felt. We see those extra smiles the children gave back to us as we distribute the gifts we prepared for them. In this kind of season, the SAKATUKI youth organization is always making the celebration even more joyful and worth celebrating for 🌟

⭐ Children's Film Viewing ⭐

This Easter Sunday, Ma’am Rei Quiel sponsored a free film viewing to kids with the goal of uplifting their moods after the quiet Holy Week. The movie “RPG Metanoia” made a symbolic impact among the children that made them realized the consequences of excessive use of gadgets. Nevertheless, the whole audience enjoyed watching the movie, as well as playing some games.

We are grateful for the help of Ma’am Rei to give joy to the kids, and to the parents who let their children join in this kind of project. ❤️‍🔥

During these progressive times, while the world could be cruel to every people— especially the children, let us show humanity and build a reason for the youth to smile. ❤️‍🔥⭐

On March 08, 2008, the Samahan ng mga Kabataan Tungo sa magandang Kinabukasan (SAKATUKI) youth organization was founded by Mr. Alejandro Parro Sr. and Ms. Cecilia Parro together with the helping hand of other individuals (too many to mention) with the aim of empowering the youth to build good relationship among each child, foster creativity, encourage self-esteem, actively engage in community activities, and have a better understanding of the self as part of the youth.

With that more than a decade, the organization still withstand the risks, challenges, and dilemmas that may come and go. Through it all, that makes the members of the group holds strength with what circumstances this organization will face. Believing in oneself also improves the vision and mission of the group in which there were great developments— character, physical aspects, critical thinking, and innovativeness on each and every member of this association.

Today, marked the 17th year of the SAKATUKI youth organization. Though still in process for the next projects, the officers are continuously working on their part to provide exciting activities, events, and programs that will fill the minds of the youth with new knowledge, experience, reflections, adaptability, and innovativeness.

In this organization, there is a small chance to give up as the individuals that are part of this were resilient, perseverant, compassionate, have a sense of strong leadership, and always giving an attention to open communication. Whatever problems may come, it will always be resolved.

We also appreciate and value all the assistance that the local government officials gave and constantly giving until this current time. Without you, we wouldn’t have reached our goals and our present status that is still in track and everyday making a difference.

Thank you for the thousand smiles, SAKATUKI. For all those joyful moments we had, the never-ending drive to guide and teach the youth, to those great memories we’ve shared, and through thick and thin, the people that surround this organization are forever grateful for the major contributions we made in each other’s life.

To more years with you, SAKATUKI! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! ⭐⭐⭐

⭐ Annual Gift-Giving Activity ⭐

Today, marked the day so special as giving something that will bring smiles to the children of Block 32 Extension. As the holiday season approaches, we are filled with the Christmas spirit and the happiness of giving. This day, we aimed to make the holidays more joyful for the kids and young people in our community by giving them toys, food, and warm clothes. Their hearts are warmed and their lives are profoundly impacted when they received their special gifts by the kind donation of toys’ sponsors and to the work of the SAKATUKI organization.

⭐ Annual Halloween Event ⭐

This day was a spooky and cutie blast! There’s no much to say aside from “Thank you”. The organization saw how the participants together with their guardians enjoyed the celebration of the event. For quite some time, the SAKATUKI youth organization haven’t celebrated the halloween event last year due to environment’s conflict. Nevertheless, we feel honored to bring back the happy faces of children who excitedly waited at this party to happen again.

A week before the occasion, the organization was overwhelmed with the participants who were continuously visit the President’s house to include their names on the list and pay for the registration fees. This was the first event and second project of the newly-elected officers of the year. A lot of preparation was planned to meet the expectations of the community members who will join the halloween get-together for another time in a while.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our Halloween event. From the organizers to the volunteers, sponsors, and participants, your collective efforts made this spooky spectacular a day to remember. Your dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm brought our community together for an unforgettable afternoon of thrills and chills.

Special thanks to our amazing team of officers, other advisers, and especially to our organizer, Mrs. Cecilia Parro and current lead adviser, Mr. Alejandro Parro, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this event to life. Your effort to be attentive, suggest innovative ideas, and ability to problem-solve under pressure were invaluable. We're also deeply grateful to our city councilors and other sponsors, whose generosity helped us provide an impressive bunch of treats and prizes for our guests.

To our organization members and volunteers, we couldn't have done it without you. With all your energy, kindness, and willingness to lend a hand made all the difference. From setting up decorations, tent, tables and chairs, and settlement of the place to managing games and activities, your contributions were very important to the event’s achievement to success. The delicious foods that was offered by Ms. Mary Jane Butin were also commended by the organization. We’re also thankful to our talented performers, Olarose F. Alog and Gieanne E. Flores, who delivered mesmerizing performance during their intermission number that left our audience in awe.

Last but not the least, thank you to our wonderful community members who attended and participated in the event. Your presence and enthusiasm made the whole day truly special. We’re thrilled to have shared this experience with you and can't wait to do it again next year. Thank you very much again to everyone involved for making our Halloween event a howling success! ❤️‍🔥
