We believe in the transformative power of mutual healing between humans and animals. Communitails currently operates in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Communitails is a social enterprise registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines. Our community was founded in 2014 by a group of friends in the medical and allied health professions who all share the same heart - love for animals. We have personally experienced the power of mutual healing between humans and animals, and would like to share that to others as we

ll. We help organize customized Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI) in schools, hospitals, and other institutions and organizations. We also provide education through lectures, training, and workshops to advance awareness on the human-animal bond, animal welfare, and responsible pet ownership in the community. Our team of Handlers and their Therapy Animals, who we call our "HATs" (Human-Animal Teams), have undergone our certification training based on international standards for Animal-Assisted Interventions to ensure safety of both humans and animals.

The Memorandum of Agreement between Communitails and Center for Habits has officially been signed. 🤩🥳

This partnership sets the stage for the development and implementation of a training workshop on Animal-Assisted Therapy Intervention (AAI) for rehabilitation professionals grounded in ethics, evidence, and meaningful human–animal collaboration.

Our Story

Communitails was founded in 2014 by a group of health and human service professionals who value the vital role/importance of the human-animal bond in mutual healing. The Board of Directors, composed of medical, veterinary, and education professionals, are geared towards documenting, professionalizing, and researching the practice of animal-assisted interventions and its benefits to the community. Communitails offers personalized Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI) to clients such as schools, hospitals, and other institutions and organizations. We also provide education through lectures, training, and workshops to advance awareness on the human-animal bond, animal welfare, and responsible pet ownership in the community. Communitails is a member of the Animal Assisted Intervention International and accredited by the Philippines Bureau of Animal Industry. Our AAI professionals are certified by Pet Partners, USA, while our therapy animal has gone through obedience training and temperament screening by a professional dog trainer. Communitails currently operates in Metro Manila, Philippines.
