NATIONWIDE THERAFREE 2025
“It takes a village…” 🏘️
Last November 9, 2025, Stride Center opened its doors to offer free occupational and speech therapy screenings and home programs to families with limited to no access to therapy services across Metro Manila.
With over 70 screenings completed in one day, we would like to express our utmost gratitude to our villagers whose hands and hearts have made this initiative possible:
- To the UP College of Allied Medical Professions and its Alumni Association, congratulations on your foundation celebration! Thank you for reminding alumni-owned centers to honor our roots through continued service.
- To our dedicated and diligent volunteers — 6 occupational therapists (Teachers Dem, Tina, Mica, Bello, Jean, and Cammy), 8 speech-language pathologists (Teachers Reena, Kat, Yssa, Josh, Martin, Ria, Ging, and Eunice), 5 student volunteers (Maxine, Kristine, Kim, Hanz, and Kervee), and our center admin and staff (Jeff, Ate Cathy) — your time, energy, and commitment to serve despite the weather are deeply inspiring. This initiative wouldn’t have been possible, or successful, without each and every one of you.
- To parents, Facebook support groups, and REACH Mandaluyong, thank you for sharing this project and helping us reach families who needed it most.
- To our generous sponsors: Eliza Faith Fernandez, Keith Cyriel Bacsa and Nancy Hernandez, Ana Isabel Pabale and Jeane Raphael Quinto, Imelda Adobo, Jocelyn Angel, and Anytime Fitness San Jose Del Monte Bulacan — thank you for providing our participants with warm, hearty meals throughout the day.
- To the parents and families who attended with their loved ones, thank you for continuously doing your best to provide care and support, no matter the distance and difficulty.
At Stride, we believe that service is both a duty and a privilege. Through collective effort and compassion, we are reminded that every act of service — big or small — helps lift another. May we continue to advocate for every individual’s right to health and social services, and remain steadfast in building communities that care 💙💚
