Councilor Yanyan Ibay convened a Focus Group Discussion with UNAIDS Philippines and HASH - HIV & AIDS Support House, Inc to lay the groundwork for a comprehensive and sustainable HIV advocacy project in the City of Manila. 🙏🏻

The discussion focused on the planned rollout of initiatives aimed at training and capacitating youth leaders to become advocates for public health and responsible awareness within their communities.

By empowering SKs and strengthening partnerships with key health organizations, this initiative reflects the city’s proactive commitment to creating a community that is inclusive, informed, and compassionate.

The Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC), with UNAIDS and partners, has launched the Philippine HIV Prevention Road Map 2025–2030.

The plan outlines 10 key actions to curb the rise of HIV—expanding prevention services, tackling stigma, strengthening community efforts, and introducing new technologies. With young people among the most affected, urgent action is needed to protect the next generation.

Together, we are working to achieve the 95-95-95 targets and end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. 🌍❤️

Maraming salamat sa Council for the Welfare of Children sa pagkakataong talakayin ang Youth Health Learning Package, isang youth-led adolescent health learning program na binuo namin kasama ng mga pambansang sangay ng gobyerno, ahensya ng United Nations, at youth leaders mula sa Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, at Valenzuela upang tugunan ang problema sa HIV na kinakaharap ng ating mga kabataan.

Sa ating patuloy na pagtutulungan, mapapalawak natin ang kaalaman ng kabataan ukol sa iba’t ibang aspeto ng kanilang kalusugan at maitataguyod ang kalusugan ng bawat batang Pilipino.
