The Mandaue City Health Office, through its Maternal and Safe Motherhood Program, conducted a Maternal Death Review on November 28, 2025, at Dohera Hotel, with representatives from the Department of Health, Eversley Child Sanitarium, and private hospitals in attendance.

The review assessed key factors contributing to maternal deaths and strengthened strategies to improve maternal care and service delivery across health facilities—affirming the city’s commitment to safer pregnancies and better outcomes for mothers.

On November 21, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through the Centro Cluster, conducted School-Based Immunization at Ibabao - Estancia Elementary school and Science National Highschool

Grade 1 pupils and Grade 7 Students received Measles-Rubella (MR) and Tetanus-Diphtheria (TD) vaccines, while Grade 4 learners received the Human Papillomavirus
(HPV) vaccine. This initiative helps protect students from vaccine-preventable diseases and promotes their overall health and well-being.

The activity provided emotional support, alleviated distress, and strengthened the coping capacity of affected families.

The activity provided emotional support, alleviated distress, and strengthened the coping capacity of affected families.

The Mandaue City Health Office, through its Mental Health Program and in partnership with the DOH MHPSS Team of Region 10, conducted a Psychological First Aid (PFA) session for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Barangay Casuntingan on November 21, 2025, at the Barangay Casuntingan Gym and Cabancalan 1 Elementary Gym.

This session aimed to provide immediate emotional support, ease distress, and strengthen the coping capacity of affected families following the incident.

On November 20, 2025, the Mandaue City Health Office, through the Kabukiran Cluster, conducted School-Based Immunization at Cesar M. Cabahug Elementary School

Grade 1 pupils received Measles-Rubella (MR) and Tetanus-Diphtheria (TD) vaccines, while Grade 4 learners received the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. This initiative helps protect students from vaccine-preventable diseases and promotes their overall health and well-being.
