UCLM CARES Annual Gift-Giving Activity
UCLM Community Awareness, Relations, and Extension Services (CARES) successfully conducted its Annual Gift-Giving Activity for children affected by Typhoon Tino in its adopted barangay in Mandaue City on December 13, 2025, at the UCLM Covered Court.
The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of all CARES departments, in partnership with the General Education Teachers, reflecting the university’s strong commitment to community service and compassion.
The food served during the activity was generously sponsored by Capt. Mario Gabuya and family, former faculty member of the Marine Transportation program; Ms. Lace Villavicencio, Hospitality Management alumna; Ma’am Nely Villavicencio of The Heart of God Ministry; and the Administration of UCLM.
Games for the parents were sponsored by Ms. Zeus Abella, College of Nursing alumna, and Mr. Zuryl Abella, College of Nursing student, adding enjoyment and engagement to the celebration.
The gifts distributed to the children were donated through the collective generosity of UCLM students, faculty, staff, and alumni, bringing joy, hope, and smiles to the young beneficiaries during the holiday season.
The program hosted by NSA student Cadet Daleon, who ensured the smooth flow of activities and added energy to the event.
This meaningful activity highlights UCLM’s continuing dedication to uplifting communities and extending heartfelt service to those in need.
