Curamed ® SH / BF 1.8% in 1.5ml pfs is a Cohesive, high viscosity Sodium Hyaluronate based ophthalmic viscoelastic solution designed for routine cataract surgery.

Curamed SH / BF contains Sodium Hyaluronate derived from bacterial fermentation. It has one of the highest elasticities among Viscoelastics produced using this source.

👉360 degree sharp square edge together with the Hybrid long chain copolymer material is effective in blocking Lens Epitehelial Cells (LECs) migration to lower PCO

👉Closed modified C-loops with offset shaped haptics enable the lens to adhere to the posterior capsule, to prevent early postoperative rotation and to reduce PCO. 137 degree contact angle provides initial lens stability. The space between the inner haptic stays open with compression down to 9mm. This opening is designed to allow a "fibrosis anchor". This will enhance the stability and reduce late post-op rotation of the lens.

A CTF optic is an optic with an anterior surface with multiple segments for far and near. A smooth transition from far to near is achieved between the segments. This transition offers an elongated focus between the 2 sharp focus points, delivering excellent intemediate vision.

👉Regular Multifocal IOLs will cause positive dysphotopsia, due to concentric rings but CTF uses segments that avoid such problem as they are designed to provide a more tolerant lens to halos and glare.
