Ang primary goal ng WELL BABY CHECK-UP ay tingnan ang overall health ni baby upang maiwasan na siya ay magkaroon ng sakit. Sa isang well baby check up, tinintingnan ni Tita Doc ang iba't ibang aspeto tulad ng:

-asa tama pa ba ang timbang ni baby, mataba ba sya or payat sa age nya
-kumpleto ba ang mga vaccine nya, ano pa ang kulang, kailan dapat iturok ito
-tama ba ang kinakain ni baby, anong magandang milk or paano pa padadamihin ang supply ng milk ni mommy
-ano ba dapat ang need ni baby na vitamins
