This webinar highlighted the importance of caring for the mental health of both pharmacy educators and students. Pharmacy education carries high demands that affect well-being, yet faculty and students remain key advocates for health in the community. The session emphasized the need to strengthen resilience, promote supportive academic environments, and affirm the role of pharmacists as champions of overall health.
The program aimed to help participants recognize common stressors and mental health challenges faced by pharmacy educators and students, apply practical strategies for self-care, stress management, and workโlife balance, promote inclusive practices within the academic community, and appreciate the role of pharmacists in advancing mental health awareness and well-being. In alignment with the 2025 World Pharmacists Day theme, โ๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ธ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต, ๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ธ ๐ฃ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐,โ this initiative underscored the significance of mental health and well-being among those who educate and shape future pharmacists. While pharmacy education is inherently demanding, faculty and students remain at the forefront of health advocacy, serving as pillars in the community. This session sought to address immediate well-being concerns while also supporting the broader goal of integrating health considerations into every aspect of pharmacy education and practice.
