What’s your TRANQ?

Years ago, before I got married, I had a falling out with a friend. It was clear that the relationship couldn’t work out and saying goodbye was the painful solution.

As my Dad taught me to pray about things I couldn’t control, I remember one night when I asked God to just take care of him because I no longer could. And on that same night, he messaged from out of the blue, thanking me for praying for him.

I never knew what he meant by that but I like to think that God was (and will be) on top of things as usual, doing his benzodiazepine-like wonders on me. 🙂

I do believe that faith (with the right mindset) may be the best habit-forming tranquilizer in the market. And it’s free! So go get yourself one. You need it for your mental health. 🙂
