Free Online Course and Onsite Workshops (with 45 CPD Units)

Applications are still open for NurseLEAD: Enhancing Faculty Competencies in Teaching Public Health Nursing in the BSN Program Batch 7.

Eligibility Requirements:
-Must be a faculty member of a state, local, or private college or university
-Must have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in Public Health Nursing

THE 7TH BATCH OF THE NURSELEAD COURSE FOR PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING EDUCATORS IS NOW OPEN!

The NurseLEAD Course is a free online and face-to-face program designed to advance Public Health Nursing practice in the Philippines. It aims to strengthen the competencies of nurse educators in leading and managing primary care services and population-based programs, carrying out supervisory and leadership roles, and promoting interprofessional education and collaborative practice.

The "NurseLEAD Course: Enhancing Faculty Competencies in Teaching Public Health Nursing in the BSN Program" will accommodate up to 50 scholars. The program is open to nurse faculty members from State and Local/Private Universities and Colleges and with at least three (3) years of experience in teaching Public Health Nursing course(s).

The deadline for the submission of application requirements is November 24, 2025. For inquiries and application submissions, please contact upnurselead@gmail.com.

The University of the Philippines Manila College of Nursing successfully concluded the NurseLEAD Educators Batch 6 Face-to-Face Sessions and Onsite Workshops held from October 27 to 29, 2025.

The three-day program featured interactive integration activities and the development of capstone project proposals to be implemented across nursing education institutions nationwide. Designed to strengthen the competencies of Public Health Nursing educators, the sessions mark a key milestone in advancing public health nursing education in the BSN program.

The College extends its heartfelt congratulations to the NurseLEAD Batch 6 graduates for their dedication and commitment to excellence in nursing education. Their efforts exemplify leadership, collaboration, and a shared vision for advancing the profession.

We are pleased to announce that the application period for the NurseLEAD Course (45 CPD units) has been extended until October 1, 2025.

The UP College of Nursing, in partnership with the Global Community Impact of Johnson & Johnson through the Give2Asia Foundation, invites nurse educators to participate in the six-week online and onsite workshops: Enhancing Faculty Competencies in Teaching Public Health Nursing in the BSN Program.

UP College of Nursing, as a World Health Organization Collaborating Center for Leadership in Nursing Development offers this trailblazing course to provide the health industry with public health nurse educators for Universal Health Care.

THE 6TH BATCH OF THE FREE COURSE FOR PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING EDUCATORS IS NOW OPEN!

NurseLEAD is a free online course on developing advanced practice in Public Health Nursing that aims to strengthen nurse competencies in leading and managing primary care services and population-based programs, carrying out supervisory and leadership responsibilities, and fostering interprofessional education and collaborative practice.

The “NurseLEAD Course: Enhancing Faculty Competencies in Teaching Public Health Nursing in the BSN Program” course will take in up to 50 scholars for the sixth batch. We are looking for nurses who are faculty members of State/Local Universities and Colleges with at least three (3) years of experience in teaching Public Health Nursing course(s).
