SYMPTOMS OF Uterine Fibroids
Uterine fibroids are not easily detected on their own. Therefore, when women have the following symptoms, they need to quickly go to the doctor, do an ultrasound to detect the disease in time:
Abnormalities in the menstrual cycle: Women have a longer than normal menstrual cycle, sometimes 3-6 months.
Abnormal menstrual bleeding: light but prolonged menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia), irregular bleeding that is not during menstruation.
Abdominal Abnormalities: Women feel pain in the lower abdomen or see an abnormally large abdomen like pregnancy.
Abnormalities in urination and defecation: women often urinate or experience constipation due to the bladder and re**um being compressed.
Abnormalities in childbirth: Females have difficulty conceiving, are prone to miscarriage, premature birth or postpartum hemorrhage.
In addition to difficulty giving birth, uterine fibroids can also turn into cancer or cause life-threatening postpartum hemorrhage in women. Therefore, visiting a doctor is essential.
