The Longest-running Christmas Toy Event is back for its 18th Year!

Spend the most wonderful time of the year shopping for toys, art, and collectibles as the Christmas Toys and Collectibles Fair 2025 happens during the height of this season!

From the organizers of the biggest pop-culture event in the country, TOYCON PH, comes the longest-running Christmas toy event, now on its 18th year. The Christmas Toys and Collectibles Fair, or Christmas ToyFair for short, has evolved from a simple holiday bazaar into one of the most anticipated geek-culture gatherings of the year. It brings together local and international vendors, artists, collectors, and fans to enjoy — and share — their passion for toys, art, and nostalgia. The ToyFair aims to foster community, creativity, and the joy of gift-giving during the Christmas season.

Toy collectors, artists, content creators, cosplayers, gamers and families are invited to attend the Christmas ToyFair, and enjoy great finds among a curated collection of toys, rare figurines, memorabilia, and holiday-themed merchandise all under one roof. The event will take place from December 12 to 14, 2025, at the Megatrade Halls, 5th level SM Megamall Building B from 10:00AM to 9:00 PM daily.

More Than Just a Christmas Bazaar
The ToyFair has long become a holiday tradition for many — a place not only to buy toys and collectibles, but also to celebrate fandom, hobbyist culture, and the close-knit community of collectors. As such, the Christmas ToyFair 2025 Edition is more than just a bazaar: it’s a gathering point for pop-culture lovers, collectors’ clubs, artists, cosplayers, friends, fans and families looking for fun and unique finds.

For collectors: this is one of the biggest opportunities in the year to score rare items, limited editions, and exclusive goods — often ideal for holiday/Christmas gifting or to expand a collection, from the country’s biggest names in Art Toys such as Quiccs, Reen Barrera, Creon Chknhead, Pol Medina, Harvey Tolibao and many more.

A key feature of recent ToyFair editions—and one fans continue to love—is the Artist Alley, a bustling zone for indie illustrators, customizers, 3D artists, designers, and toy makers. From hand-sculpted art toys and resin figures to original prints and stickers, Artist Alley remains the heart of local creativity at the fair.

Attendees can expect high-energy performances, stunning holiday-themed builds, and appearances of beloved anime, gaming, and superhero characters roaming the halls for photo ops.

Event Highlights
The Christmas ToyFair will feature:
• Limited-edition releases and rare finds, including imported action figures, diecast cars and collectibles, art toys, apparel, and exclusive merchandise
• Meet-and-greet sessions with local toy designers, artists, and custom-figure makers
• Great deals from over 350+ booths offering action figures, board games, holiday merchandise, cards, comics, and DIY cosplay, custom art and crafts
• Meet & Greet booths with Cosplay celebrities powered by ProjexxCC Cosplay Collective, to be launched during the Christmas ToyFair
• The biggest Cosplay Competition: TOYCON CosKon will have its qualifier rounds for its Qualifier Rounds for its Top 5 Male and Female finalists featuring Celebrity Cosplay judges
• BATTLE NEXUS electrifying tournaments and Anime Clash powered by SHORYU: Fighting Games Festival Philippines
• Musical performers and bands featuring: Souldrift, Bullet Days, Mohini, Power Pop Gurlz, Renjin and Luisa
• Family-friendly zones, complete with a kids’ toy corner, interactive toy exhibits with many photo stations
• Trading Card Game tournaments, Pokemon Alley and table top Battle Grounds in the ToyFair Play Zone
• Charity Auctions and the annual toy drive for our various Children’s charities

What You Should Do to Prepare
- If you want rare or limited-edition items: come early (floor likely gets crowded), preferably Day 1, to have first dibs.
- Keep to within your budget — with wide variety of toys, collectibles, merch, cosplay accessories, etc., it’s easy to overspend.
Bring cash and cashless options. Many vendors accept both, but lines for ATMs can get long.
- Wear comfortable clothes. The halls get crowded—especially Saturday afternoon.
- If you’re cosplaying: check the CosKon registration and rules — the Toyfair is a great opportunity to compete and meet fellow cosplayers at no extra cost.
- Treat it as social event: even if you don’t buy much, it’s a good time to hang out with fellow collectors/fans, discover indie artists, and enjoy the festive atmosphere
- Support local artists. Some of the best finds at the fair don’t come from big brands—they come from creative Filipino makers.
Admission is ₱200 for adults, ₱100 for kids from 3-12 y.o. and free admission for toddlers. Discounts apply for PWD and Senior citizens.

CosMeet 2025: A Free, Crowded, Vibrant Celebration at Okada
After Cosplay Mania’s big event, many fans have been wondering how the organizers would move forward this year. cosplay.ph has always been known for delivering quality conventions—sometimes with minor issues here and there, but generally with a level of polish that keeps attendees coming back.

I managed to attend CosMeet 2025 for just a few hours. The venue was conveniently close to the airport, and since I had a flight that same day, I was the only one in our area available to cover the event. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take any photos during my short stay. Still, I was able to get a good feel for what the event offered.

This year’s CosMeet was once again held at Okada, and while I know it has been the venue since last year, this was actually my first time attending a cosplay convention inside the hotel. Honestly, I think it works really well. There are so many beautiful spots where attendees can take photos, both indoors and outdoors, giving cosplayers plenty of freedom to get creative.
And did I mention that the event is completely free? This alone makes CosMeet incredibly accessible. Of course, the trade-off is that the crowd can feel a bit suffocating during peak hours, but the open space in the middle of the venue provides a nice escape when you need to breathe. It keeps the experience busy but still manageable.

The stage was lively the entire time I was there. No dull moments at all! There were games, contests, and performances happening one after another, keeping the energy high throughout the day.
With conventions getting more expensive every year, it’s refreshing to see organizers who remain passionate about creating events that are open and accessible to the community. I’m hoping I get to spend a much longer time at the next CosMeet, because a few hours definitely wasn’t enough.

I’ve always been a fan of Cosplay Mania ever since I started attending conventions back in 2015. For fans of J-pop and cosplay, it has always been the convention to look forward to. Many of my favorite artists and performers would attend, and I’d always go home with fond memories, a bag (or two) full of merch and stickers, and, admittedly, an empty wallet.

However, after the pandemic, conventions in general seem to have lost a bit of their old charm. Ticket prices remain high, and it raises the question: is the experience still worth it? For some, it still is; for others, maybe not as much. I wouldn’t say Cosplay Mania was all that bad. In fact, having organized events myself, I understand how challenging it can be to deliver a smooth, high-quality experience, especially since a lot of things are happening simultaneously, but there were definitely areas that could be improved. A better floor plan with more entry and exit points, for instance, might help helped a lot.

On the bright side, the main stage was a highlight for me. The competitions, performances, and guest interviews ran well, and the audience seemed genuinely engaged. You could feel the excitement in the air during those moments.

Still, a part of me misses the energy Cosplay Mania used to have, the feeling that there was a celebration happening in every hall. I remember losing my voice during Cosplay Mania from all the fun i was having.

Maybe it’s just nostalgia—or maybe conventions are simply evolving with what newer attendees enjoy. I did find it easier to browse and shop this time around, though the artist alley was quite crowded (and warm), which made it a bit tough if you were dressed warmly.

That said, I truly believe Cosplay Mania can bounce back stronger. The passion of the community is still there, and the organizers clearly have the heart for it. There are still a few more events lined up by them before the year ends, and I’m honestly excited to see how they build on this experience moving forward.
