Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. with First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, led the ceremonial inaguration of the Department of Tourism's (DOT) Transit Tours and Medical Tourism Concierge Pavilion at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. Joining the President are Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, DOT officials, along with key government and private sector partners.

Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC), a DOT-accredited facility, was one of the major hospitals invited to this event. Dr. Andre Daniel Villanueva, CGHMC Director for Business Development and Quality Management, delivered a message of support to this initiative which forms part of the country's Medical Tourism Program.

This important milestone enhances airport-based tourism services and elevates the country's gateway experience. The Pavilion is a purpose-built space that offers curated short tours for transiting passengers while providing dedicated airport assistance to medical travelers. CGHMC collaterals will be made available in the Pavilion along with other DOT-accredited healthcare and wellness facilities across the country.

Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC) is one of the oldest and most-trusted hospitals in the Philippines. It was founded during the Spanish occupation in the country from charitable donations of Chinese immigrants. Backed by the Philippine Chinese Charitable Association Inc. (PCCAI), the hospital continues to grow and improve its services, commitment to the welfare of its patients.
