DHC Deep Cleansing Oil: Is this better than the Shu Uemura one?

This is because the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is olive oil-based and unscented. It smells a little like olive oil which some complain about, but I find it to be a light odor. The texture of the oil itself is thin and spreads easily on dry skin. I use as much as two pumps when I'm removing a full face of makeup, but that already takes off everything including waterproof eyeliner and liquid foundation. I use less if I have less

In the photo set above, you'll notice that it can take off 95% of the waterproof products I used in just one pass. I make sure to massage the oil thoroughly on dry skin so that it breaks down the makeup I'm wearing. After the first rinse, the rest can be washed off with my usual facial cleanser since the pigments are already loose.

It works just as well as Shu Uemura for me, but Shu has a more pleasant scent and slightly thinner texture. Both wash off without any feeling of oily residue, and both don't cause me any breakouts or irritate my eyes. I think that I'll purchase a full-sized DHC bottle next time I'm in Japan since it's just more affordable!
