Reduce Sugar in Food
I have patients wonder why they never lose weight. When I ask them, they say they can eat 1 mango per meal. That's why!
Mango is sweet and high in sugar. Yes sugar does help our body Gives us energy and strength. But if overweight we can get diabetes. Do you know the sugar content of common foods? Let's see.
1. Raisins 42.5 g ng Sunmaid Raisins (½ cup) = 7 ½ kutsaritang asukal (120 cal)
Strawberries are lower in sugar compared to grapes, mangoes and dried fruits.
2. 8 baby carrots or half cup (85 g) = 1 teaspoon sugar (30 cal)
3. 1 large orange = 5 1/2 tsp sugar (132 cal)
The sweeter and more ripe, the more sugar. Select the fruits that are just ripe. Do not pick the overripe fruits.
4. Three-fourth cup plain cereals = 1 kutsaritang asukal (120 cal)
But a three-fourth cup of frosted cereals = 3 teaspoons of sugar (120 cal)
5. 1 regular corn = 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
6. 1 ensaymada with butter = 8 teaspoons sugar and 5 tablespoons butter
If you want to lose weight, just choose pandesal or monay.
7. 1 scoop of regular ice cream = 5 1/2 teaspoons sugar (240 cal)
But 1 cup unsweetened 6 oz yogurt = 3 1/2 teaspoons sugar (100 cal)
Yogurt is healthier than ice cream.
8. 1 coffee drink with whip cream (16 oz grande) = 12 kutsaritang asukal (380 cal)
And when it comes to drinks with whip cream, ice cream and chocolate, that's pretty much high in sugar. But, it's okay if you're thin and want to gain weight.
But if you're diabetic and want to lose weight, opt for low sugar foods.
The sugar of fruit, called fructose, is healthier, compared to white sugar. So be careful of hidden sugars in our food. Good luck!

What is More Healthy? (Part 4)
In our example of healthier eating, do you know which is healthier of the two? Buy and eat healthier foods more often.
• Cream soup or clear soup.
Cream soup is a thick soup mixed with milk. Because of this, it is fatter and higher in calories. For those on a diet, opt for clear soup or your cooler soup.
Winner: Clear soup.
• Rice or spaghetti.
Rice and spaghetti both give energy to our body. But this one raises our blood sugar faster. According to nutrition experts, white rice is called to have a “high glycemic index,” or it quickly raises our blood sugar intake. On the other hand, spaghetti has a “low to medium glycemic index,” or slows sugar out of our body more slowly. Just some advice: Don't overcook the spaghetti. This needs to be hardened (al dente). When spaghetti is overcooked, it also has a bad effect on our blood sugar like rice.
Winner: Spaghetti.
• Fried milkfish or milkfish sinigang.
Anything fried we prefer to avoid. So even fried fish still has oil. Roasted and steamed foods are much healthier. Because of this, milkfish sinigang is healthier especially if there are a lot of vegetables.
Winner: Sinigang with milkfish.
• Pork chops o pork tenderloin.
Actually, it's hard to choose between 2 kinds of pigs. When it comes to pork and beef, let's go for the cuts that are less fat. Pork tenderloin and sirloin are less fat compared to pork chop and pork belly. Also remove fat from meat before cooking it.
Winner: Pork tenderloin.
• Yellow watermelon or red watermelon.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, eating red watermelon increases arginine and nitrous oxide levels in our body. These chemicals relax our veins and improve blood flow. Red watermelon also has lycopene. Because of this, red watermelon can help our heart. Yellow watermelon, however, contains lutein, a chemical that is good for our eyes.
Winner: Both are winners. Red watermelon for the heart and yellow watermelon for the eyes.

Effective Health Tips
1. Eat less food.
Numerous studies have shown that reducing calorie consumption prolongs life. Even in Biblical times, fasting and abstaining from certain foods was encouraged.
2. Try the Mediterranean Diet.
The Mediterranean diet consists of vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts and olive oil. Fish and chicken are also eaten moderately. Studies show that people who consume the Mediterranean diet can avoid heart disease and Alzheimer's Disease. In fact, some experts consider it the most healthy diet.
3. Choose the healthy fats.
There are 2 types of fats: healthy and unhealthy fats. Unhealthy fats (saturated fats and trans-fatty acids) cause heart disease. Saturated fats can be found in butter, creams, and pork and beef fat. Trans fats can be found in margarines and cooking oil and processed foods like biscuits. Look at the label and try to reduce eating it. On the other hand, nutritious fats can be found in nuts, avocados and fatty fish like salmon, sardines, mackerel and tilapia. When shopping, choose low-fat milk and low-fat fillings. Remove visible fats before cooking.
4. Maintain a dental hygiene.
Having gum disease is linked to heart disease and can actually shorten life. Inflammation of the gums is believed to be associated with inflammation of the arteries or veins in the heart. Oral infection can lead to dangerous heart valve infection. Brush teeth 3 times a day. Use a tongue cleanser to remove tongue bacteria. And floss every day too.

If you have the following symptoms, consult your doctor:

About 10% of women with breast tumors get cancer. Sometimes, it's normal to have breast lumps that are conjoined (called fibroadenoma), or sometimes just a cyst. Typically to have small lumps when menstruation is approaching. But if you are unsure of the cause of the tumor, it is necessary to consult with a surgeon or doctor. Because the leading cause of woman death from cancer is bre-ast cancer.
2. Abnormal bleeding.
Many factors affect a woman's period, such as weight loss, excessive exercise and stress. It often voluntarily returns to normal and does not need treatment. But if your visit is consistently irregular, heavily or prolonged bleeding, consult an OB-Gyne. If there's bleeding after s*x, or between your periods, get a check-up too. If bleeding is experienced after menopause, it could be a sign of cancer.
3. Abnormal discharge.
A normal discharge from a gate is clear or white in color and has no odor. But if the discharge is yellow, brown or red, and has a foul odor, it could be a sign of diseases. Usually the cause of this discharge is infection like bacterial vaginosis or thrush, and STDs like chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes or trichomoniasis.
If STD is left untreated it can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease infections in the reproductive organs, which can become severe and a woman's inability to conceive. It is also possible that cancer in the cervix (collar of the matrix) is the cause of abnormal discharge. Consult with OB-Gyne.

Cardiovascular disease: causes or consequences?
In most cases, it is more correct to talk about mutual dependence. Although most cardiovascular diseases are associated with arterial pathologies, some also affect capillaries. A decrease in the tone of the vascular wall or narrowing of the lumen of the capillaries interferes with normal blood circulation and the supply of the brain with nutrients and oxygen.

Among the diseases it should be noted:

hypertension;
cerebrovascular pathology;
systemic scleroderma;
systemic lupus erythematosus.
There are also cases when a violation of the elasticity and permeability of the capillary wall leads to the development of cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension and stroke. In particular, this is observed in the clinical picture of diabetes mellitus. Under the toxic effect of excess glucose, mechanisms are activated that cause damage to the vascular wall, an increase in its permeability. Therefore, diabetics have a very high risk of cerebral hemorrhage and myocardial infarction.

Vascular Weakening Factors
The circulatory system is directly connected with all organs of the human body. It helps to feed every cell and at the same time to remove waste products. Therefore, overall health can also affect the degree of fragility.

Weak blood vessels can be:

lack of vitamins;
lingering stress;
bad habits;
physical exhaustion;
fluctuations in hormonal levels;
poisoning.
It is easier to improve the situation and strengthen the walls on your own in such cases. A healthy lifestyle, vitamins, folk remedies help to solve the problem, and not locally, but in a complex manner. But first it is worth undergoing an examination and make sure that a serious disease is not hidden behind the violation of the strength of the shells.

What methods can be used to strengthen blood vessels
Phlebologists argue that they need to be strengthened systematically, and not from time to time. Do not wait until varicose asterisks begin to appear on your legs or the first signs of circulatory disorders appear.

The blood vessel does not rest for a minute, so extra support never gets in the way. It is best not to experiment and consult your doctor first. He will clarify whether this or that remedy is right for you.
Vitamins to help strengthen capillaries
There are many beneficial substances that have a beneficial effect on the health of the circulatory system. Best of all, the vascular epithelium is strengthened by the vitamins of the groups:

A (found in carrots, beef liver, fish, broccoli, cheese, apricots, melon);
B (can be found in milk, kidneys, eggs, herring, grains);
C (rich in citrus fruits, herbs, rose hips, sea buckthorn, cabbage, tomatoes);
K (consumed from prunes, cucumbers, olive oil, asparagus, cayenne pepper).
Vitamins E and PP also help to improve the condition of blood vessels in general. Their action is mainly aimed at normalizing lipid metabolism. If it is not possible to obtain the required amount of nutrients from food, they can be obtained from preparations.

How a healthy lifestyle helps to strengthen blood vessels
Quitting bad habits and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can strengthen not only the capillary walls, but also the cardiovascular system as a whole. In addition to quitting smoking, alcohol and fatty foods, doctors recommend:

give the body moderate stress (especially the legs to avoid varicose veins);
refrain from lifting unbearable weights;
do not overheat the body (in the sun, in the bath);
wear comfortable shoes;
avoid tight clothing (especially with elastic bands).
Massage also has a beneficial effect on the state of blood vessels. In this case, we are talking about the usual manual action. It improves the general condition, stimulates blood circulation, however, it is contraindicated in thrombophlebitis. Lymphatic drainage and vibration massage, on the other hand, are harmful to the vascular epithelium.

Another useful component of a healthy lifestyle is a contrast shower. It trains the entire circulatory system (not only capillaries, but also veins and arteries)
