The Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) proudly joined the grand opening of Camp NEXT 2026 in Taiwan, hosted by the Girl Scouts of Taiwan. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡­πŸ€πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ΌπŸ‘§

Our delegation from Northern Luzon, Visayas, Western Mindanao, and Eastern Mindanao stood tall as part of this international gathering. The ceremony was graced by notable personalities from Taichung and leaders of the Girl Scouts of Taiwan, making the event even more meaningful.

A highlight of the program was the recognition of Mrs. Jade Reyes, Facilitator for Free Being Me, and Ms. Arleen Seville Monteza & Ms. Marilou Murro, members of the International Service Team (IST). They were honored with tokens of appreciation from the Chief Commissioner, along with the other Facilitators and IST members.🌟

With flags raised high and spirits united, the opening ceremony marked the beginning of an unforgettable journey of friendship, leadership, and international sisterhood.πŸ₯‚βœ¨

The Girl Scouts of the Philippines proudly sends off its delegation to Camp NEXT 2026, hosted by the Girl Scouts of Taiwan. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡­πŸ€πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ΌπŸ‘§

Four GSP Regions joined: Northern Luzon, Visayas, Western Mindanao, and Eastern Mindanaoβ€”with a total of 20 Girl Scouts and 3 adult leaders. Supporting them are 2 GSP staff serving as part of the International Service Team and 1 Facilitator.

πŸ“…Their Pre-Departure Orientation was held on January 23, 2026, and the delegation flew to Taiwan the following day. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the organizers and transported to the campsite.

⛺️At camp, the girls set up their tents and quickly freshened up before the hot water was turned off at 10 PM. The next day, they enjoyed a scenic tour of Sun Moon Lake, did a little shopping, and even experienced the breathtaking cable car ride. πŸš‘πŸŒ„πŸ’š

This journey is not just about adventure, but also about building friendships, leadership, and international sisterhood.
