In a shared effort to strengthen public healthcare delivery, the Public Health Unit of Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center actively joined the meeting of the Integrated Urban Health System–North Sector (IUHS-NS) under the CAMANAVA Health Care Provider Network.

The gathering brought together healthcare leaders and partner institutions united by one goal: to improve coordination, streamline referral systems, and ensure that patients experience seamless and accessible care. Through meaningful discussions and collaborative planning, strategies were aligned to enhance integrated service delivery and reinforce patient-centered care across the network.

Great news!

The House Committee on Health has approved the proposal to increase the authorized bed capacity of Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center from 450 to 1,000 beds.

This significant development marks a major step toward strengthening our capacity to serve more patients and further improving access to quality public healthcare.

We remain committed to expanding our services for the communities we serve.

The House Committee on Health approved on Wednesday the proposal to increase the bed capacity of Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRRMMC) from 450 to 1,000.

The Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRRMMC) warmly welcomed the team from Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) for a productive benchmarking visit focused on our Patient Appointment System and E-Referral Mechanisms.

The activity highlighted collaborative efforts among the Public Health Unit (PHU), Family Medicine Department, and iMISS, who provided a comprehensive overview of JRRMMC’s streamlined appointment workflows and electronic referral processes.

🔹 Sir Caguia discussed the Patient Appointment System, emphasizing information technology integration and service design to improve efficiency and patient experience.
🔹 Dr. Francisco shared valuable insights on the opportunities and challenges encountered in implementing and sustaining the system.
🔹 Ms. Gutierrez presented the Health Care Provider Network (HCPN) processes, underscoring coordination, referral pathways, and continuity of care.
